1:00 looks like Hypoestes, which is native to locations around the Indian Ocean, though I don't know about how native it is in your particular location.

Nice one mate, after seeing your vids and a few others, I took the kids down to our local creek yesterday and caught a heap of fish with this method. So many, and so small, I wasn't super confident in identifying them but there must have been at least 4-5 different species. Keep it up.

The staghorn ferns are beautiful!!! SO big and lovely seeing them in the wild! All those little pools cut off by drying out would be great to go through with a fishnet when you are waiting for your fish traps to catch anything! Like Bass Fishing Productions does - find some crazy aquarium fish! Would be great to see what you get in wild Australia!

Spotted leaved plant( Hypoestes species ) at 0.45 is a weed, it seeds prolifically in that semi shaded location. Most of the short herb like plants and grasses along the creek there are weeds. What is the minimum temperature you need to keep the Barramundi at? Will you need heat for Mangrove Jack?
@Dundeel. Жыл бұрын
The temperature in the tank is 30 degrees not sure minimum temperature they live in the wild where I am

They’re actually what you expect to find in the wild natural swordtails before humans played around with making them colourful

I like how you keep some of your locations a little dark. It stops dickheads seeing things, like those wonderful staghorns and coming to get them. Plus other reasons. I know its hard to keep every location secret but places like where you are, are best kept secret. In my opimion. LOVE your vids.

You don’t know what your doing mate. You killed the native fish you had in the net then you go over feed your barramundi with like a dozen live fish. It Damages there swim bladder when you overfeed them. Don’t you question why it doesn’t move after feeding for a abit?

Man love the videos! I do this alot myself, be careful, even transporting an invasive fish home is considered illegal regardless of your intention to feed them to your fish. I have had a council ranger check my bucket for invasives and he made me destroy them on site. Even though I said they were feeders for my fish. I was lucky he wasn't a d**K and he didn't take it further. Also you should be quarantining your fish and treating for worms. Also had a bad experience with that. Spread to most of my fish in a matter of weeks. Anyway not trying to be a Karen. You do you. Just thought it might help.
@Dundeel. Жыл бұрын
It’s only illegal if the fish is classed as invasive obnoxious like mosquito fish,swordtails are just classed as invasive and they’re not written into the bio security act YET
@dormsvader1878 Жыл бұрын
