Catching Jewfish and Flathead fishing Lake Macquarie

Mid to late January 2024. Got a few small jewfish (one just legal) and some good flatties between 59cm and 73cm. Also, the next day, finally come across another fellow KZbin fisho "Crebo" at the end of this clip. We had a yarn and flicked a couple of lures together for a while. Good to finally catch up with him. We both fish Lake Mac and have never ran into each other before.

Not paying off yet Andrew. I'm hoping one day it will🤞 I would have thought it was a certainty with that sort of structure, but obviously not. Have tried it high and low tides + before and after dawn with very limited success🤔....maybe winter
