Dave, I want to thank you for going fishing and taking us with you. We need to invent something that keeps a fisherman's hands warm while he's fishing and still allow him to fish. No, gloves don't do it. Cherokee Lake is nice. I remember in the early 80s there was a place where you could see for miles in all directions and the only man-made things you could see was one barn with a couple of silos next to it way off in the distance. No houses, no buildings anywhere else. I bet it has changed a lot. I sure appreciate going with you.

Been fishing from the bank in ohio in January. I have access to some deeper water if i cast far enough into the lake its near one of the deepest spots and a quick drop off at that , used chicken on one and shad on another. No bites in 4 hours.. any suggestions? Im using a santee cooper rig from the bank
