Waiting patiently for the ice up here in Southern Wisconsin. I love fishing cats. We only have channels and flats. Flats are kinda rare. Love watching you down south gentlemen getting into the blues. Wish we had them up here. Cheers!!

I been here in the Sallisaw area for like 20 ish years. Have driven around Kerr lake looking for fishing spots and found a few off the beaten paths, but wish i knww more like the ones your fishin. You was by a bridge on one of your vids that i cant for the life of me figure where you was.

I just use Google maps to find new places just zoom in and go around the edge of the lake and you can see spots where people drive to the water or roads that just run along the water. There’s a ton of bank fishing areas around Keota This place was at a park.

It took me a while to be sold on Circle hooks but with the circle hook and a good solid rod holder to help with a solid hook set they’ll definitely hook their selves happens to me a lot.

That spot can produce some nice fish. I used to fish it quite often back in the mid 90's while living in Sallisaw. I've caught lots of cats there as well as Striper, Hybrids, black bass, and some of the biggest sand/white bass I've ever caught. I'm currently living in NW ARKANSAS because I work here, but will be retiring in a couple years and hopefully will be moving back to Sallisaw. Oklahoma fishery is way better than ARKANSAS.

You've been kicking my butt lately, been hitting the Arkansas north of Tulsa 3 weeks in a row and not even a nibble. I'm going to have to get some shad because perch, chicken and worms haven't been touched

Shad may be the ticket for you. I tried perch the other day I had some in the freezer and didn’t catch anything with it and I even tried chicken today with shad and I caught three on the shad and nothing on chicken.
