It hurt seeing you lose that fish. I’ve lost many salmon here where I live in Alaska. Salmon are stronger fish, tighten your drag and you should be fine. I try not to allow them to take me downstream.
@Jodoodman3 жыл бұрын
Oh I know! I was so crushed. I should not have really let him fight me that much, but I had my drag set all way down. I had no other option to just run down with him. Next time I will try to just drag him to shore and land him

Good on ya for trying eggs and beads, I only fish eggs up there. I fished it once this year and hooked 5-6 bobber and eggs. They work if you keep at it and find where they are laying. That hole is good for eggs
@Jodoodman3 жыл бұрын
Nice! I love using eggs more too. Do you own a jig shop here in WA? I just started jigging lately

Why is the river so dirty?
@Jodoodman3 жыл бұрын
So the Carbon River flows down from the Carbon Glacier. The color comes from the silt erosion from the glacier on the mountain top.
@deepseasouza71093 жыл бұрын
Glaciar run offs produce some weird looking water at times, and it looks even more funky as it meets the ocean open water
