I actually landed a smaller sized lobster while using mackerel cut bait it was crazy I wouldn't just let go of the chunk of mackere. Good video l hope you continue catching them good luck and hi from Maine USA

Hi you need a licence from your nearest fisheries department. It will cost you around £10 for a personal license mate. Get the correct pots with the right size escape holes and away you go. Make sure your aware of the local laws regarding how many you can take, let the hens go that have eggs aswell. I loved doing this but sadly not got the time these days.

Cod heads or any fish really mate but fresh for lobster and stinking for crab. Make sure you tie them down well and be aware of others that may spot them. I got so fed up with thieves in the end. Where about are you in the UK?

Hi thanks. Yes my pots were all tagged and also have the escape hatches for the little one. I keep the tags out the way of my vlogging. Been a while since I have been potting. I loved it aswell just so busy these days with a different job. I have a video on here about tagging, measuring and v clipping the hens. I think you might enjoy that one. Do you fish for lobster also? If so where are you based .

Dave James Hi Dave. I believe they are the same. I will upload a new one soon with the sizer that I was given by the fisheries commission. It's a sad to see so many taken that are under sized. I also shake my head at places such as Morrison's and Iceland at the sizer they sell. All imported from Canada.
