Another great video mate. Went out on Friday night and hooked up on a 45cm muddy on a bright pink strike tiger worm tail ( was after a rainbow) and again today with the young bloke and hooked a stocked rainbow but lost it on a snag. Those are harder to catch than I expected, the chickens hit finally did it but that was on a line we had in looking for a carp. Ironic.

Great time-lapse Robbie, I will be ever grateful for your vids getting me through lockdown, plus the dad jokes are the icing on the cake. Not sure if you've tried eating them, but get them straight into an ice slurry in an esky and they taste OK. Tried whole fried fish or steamed asian style with lemongrass and chilli.

Hey mate, Great vid as always 👍👍👍👍👍 I give it 5 thumbs up 🙂 One question what type and size hooks are you using? I took your tips before lockdown got up early only used corn and hooked up with 2 mud Marlon and lost them I don't think my hooks were right for the job 😆
@robbiefishing3 жыл бұрын
Haha thanks mate. I'm not really up to speed with hook sizes. These are about 20mm long. A basic rule of thumb is.... the smaller the hook, the better the hookup rate, but the more fish you lose. Bigger hooks are harder to hook up onto fish, but when they do they stay hooked better and you lose less fish.
@bushfishncook21283 жыл бұрын
@@robbiefishing no worries cheers mate those last tips definitely helped :) I like that one 👍 I will up the hook size on one rod next time as to have a mix between hook size.
@robbiefishing3 жыл бұрын
My pleasure mate. Good luck with the hook ups. My last 3 is 4 fishing trips have been totally fishless. Barely even a nibble. I need to get bites before I worry about hookups. 🤣🤣
