Catching NS 1069 Virginian Heritage Unit When A Downpour Strikes! Enjoy a catch from a strange night on the Fort Wayne Line. I catch Amtrak to start and then would catch NS 1069... The Viriginian heritage unit in Little Beaver. Halfway through the train and without warning came a huge downpour. I was SOAKED!

It kind seems to me Oregon has the same type of weather you guys in Pennsylvania does, Here IT RAINS and Rains and RAINS for months on end:(

Take the battery out of the scanner and dry it out good by a hair dryer up inside it lightly and then let it set for a day with the battery out...next day put the battery back in an u should be good if it got wet through the speaker it will git on the pc board so dry it good if you dont dry it..it will eventually crode something in there..me myself id pull the thing appart and dry it but dont u change it..
