Thsbks for the vid catching squid on the paddle kayak, I have much less luck but maybe paddling too quickly. I’ll defo try what you do, maybe I’ll get a few more. Great size squid 👌

Cheers mate, it would be a good move to slow down a touch, you will hook a bit of weed but you will also hook more squid.

Gotta love a South Freo squid. Well done mate. I don't mind squidding from the Tarpon. My main fishing buddy has a paddle kayak, so its easier for me to use one too! I don’t troll much - when on the paddle yaks, I set a drift and actively cast, while hanging a sleeper jig underneath me. I'll have to give your method a try!

Cheers Paz, it was good to get the tarpon back out for a run! I prefer to troll as it keeps the jig in the water longer than cast and retrieve.

Yeah mate, squid tentacles are just about my favourite bait.

Rob form Buno just down the the road have not been able to find a reliable Squid spot here have to go to Busso 100km round trip I still love going Squidding just a good feed fun and bait .
