The stingnose jigging spoon could be the among the best and most realistic bates available. If you don't have at least 1/4 and 1/2 oz. in silver, you need to get them. The gold is my next purchase..nice job Ivo and Antonio!!

Loved that you mentioned the drum are good to eat. Underrated and tasty! We've been whacking bunched in SSM via boat less angling!

caught myself a tiny little 4 inch perch the other day while river fishing on a worm and slip sinker set up since the lake sucker were biting that and nothing else (by god do they fight !) accidentally hooked his gill and after a tiny bit of photos the guy managed to somehow stop bleeding. swam away just fine. was amazing to see one that small. gotta do it again soon. got em on 8 pound test and an ice fishing rod (which is also what the lake sucker were caught on) bank fishing was good that day!

My buddy caught his personal best small mouth on your #3 sting eye spinner the other day. Its an awesome lure.

...that's fantastic!! Say congrats to your buddy :)

Like I told you before if it’s a walleye it usually just fills like dragging a log but if it’s a sheepshead it usually keeps tapping on your line. That don’t always work that way but most of the time it does

Great video as always! Good to see that you guys are sportin some new rods and reels, must mean business is doing well! And oh by the way, no braid on your spinning reel(Johnny Morris?) during this trip Ivo?

They are one of the ways you can tell if a fish has reproduced or not. Don’t quote me on that, though.

@@thundermistlures thanks I'm sure they will be good what is the best depth to fish in lake erie this time of I'm going to port Burwell not sure if you've ever fished there or not
@thundermistlures5 жыл бұрын
@@henryunger3327 Although I have not fished out of there, you should be able to get on to perch and walleye as well....you'll get both on the Stingnose...here on the Lake Erie eastern basin, the perch are in the 50- 60 foot range, but may be different in Port Burwell area - good luck :)

why not practice conservation and release as many fish as possible 😁 dont have to eat every single thing you reel in
@stevo25745 жыл бұрын
@@crevice5369 well i didn't say keep both/all of them. just one. I also am a big fan of CAR, but keeping one to eat is fine in my book. As the natives' say "a fish in the belly is an easy winter."

Those perch are dead because there swim bladders expanded into there mouth from being pulled out of deep water. The ones they threw back most likely died too. NOT good sportsmanship.
