My man! Hell yeah. Honestly, there is a time and place for everything. I knew that was a trout stocked fishery where bass are known to blow up on trout. We saw the herring in the beginning so we went with the smaller glide profile. When that died off I knew it was time to start throwing trout profiles. I always start off with a swimmer like the TT. It covers more water and you can quickly distinguish if the fish are actively feeding. All I can say is… know your fishery and experiment. You may be surprised by the results once you put the time in! 8 inches is nothing to a big bass.

You should contact Scott at www.tripletrout.com/ He is super responsive and can probably get you back up and running if you aren’t already. I know getting it to swim right again can be a pain after something like that. A 6lb 12oz northern strain is an absolute beast! That’s great man. I definitely want to check out some places in MA. Tight lines out there, brother!

I haven't been on my Facebook page in months, but my pics are all over my home page along with William Wolski, my cousin's page I've been at it for 30 years and he smoked me on a blue gill Gantrel in Hubbardston MA 7 14oz. I believe it's his cover shot. My friend Mike Salvidio caught the sam fish prespawn and it weighed 8 7oz on a Burrito Gill. It was only 22 inches!! I'll try finding my Password this week and post this years pic's. Most large fish this year on a Pat's perch in bright red. My buddy Joe who makes Real Prey Swimbaits has 3 over 8lbs in the Merrimack in NH. Some giants.

@@troycote4503 I checked both pages out! You are slaying some certified northeast giants my man! Outstanding work. I've never thrown a Pat's but obviously I know how highly they're regarded. Interesting on the red color. I have to pick up some Real Prey baits. Joe does great work. I love the weedless trout he made Karl from KeepinItReelFishing. They're definitely on my list! That's insane that he has 3 over 8lbs out of a river. I find river fishing to be an entirely different animal. I've gotta make it up there again!
