Catching the Redeye | 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Review

This week we're driving the amazing, Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye! Last year I reviewed the 2018 Challenger Hellcat Widebody and with its 707-hp, that is one insane car. This year Dodge ups the ante with the Redeye pushing 797-hp and wow!

I love how u said u tried the mustang and the camero... but it didn’t tickle ur fancy or gave u any reason to like it as much as the Redeye or demon. 👏😂🌹 That for me and to me: is a like for me lol. First time I have ever heard of the ZF 8 speed as a "Torqueflite:. The Torqueflite was a 3 speed automatic transmission.

You think that GM would want to try to impress you, after giving the Camaro a bad review and would have been to their advantage to do so. Although they really haven't produced anything that interesting besides the ZL, and isn't worth your time anyway. Good review and love that menacing sound of the supercharger on the beast. Is awesome to see Dodge still focusing on their performance minded customers, and are bringing us the goods 👍🏼. You have to mash the gas quickly when using launch control. If you don’t you’ll burnout like you did here. It took me a couple times to figure it out on mine.

They only add on so much money because its under the name "redeye". A sunroof for an sxt is $1200. But that same sunroof for the hellcat or redeye is $2000. Same sunroof. Just for a different model. They use the name to jack up the prices to obviously ridiculous numbers

The passenger side hood scoop is not functional. Only the driver side hood scoop and center headlight are both functional. Also the redeye engine gets supplied with fuel through 2 fuel pumps like the demon whereas the hellcat and below has 1

Joel Remland A year ago I traded in my scatpack for a 2017 hellcat auto with 3k miles and a certified power train warranty in like new condition for $50k and couldn’t be happier. The scatpack was completely forgotten and not missed tbh. I’d love to have a new redeye but can’t justify spending an additional 30k for it!
