as a nj native who loves freshwater fishing, it makes me happy that you enjoy catching all these sorts of panfish. a lot of people shit on them here but they don't know how much fun it is because they can't catch em lmfao. trout are stocked 3 times a year here too and they can get pretty large

There’s a lot of good spots in VA for sure … lived here for 30 years and you literally have everything almost here in one state … fresh brackish and salt … if your in the area of willaimsburg and james city county there Chicahominy colleg creek …. And cool decent smaller ponds everywhere …. James’s river also spills out that area too so you get a great mix of every species !
