You fish the Mississippi River and there's a fish if they see you catch it and throw it back... They will give you a hefty ticket ... Because there killing off the native species... They also will jump in your boat ... One year they paid $ 5. for each fish .. And I loaded up seven huge cooler and earned $ 500. Dollars for all the fish I turned in to those folks ...

I'm a Bit older FLA Boy from Naples and I had a exchange student friend from Colombia who lived in my hood years back ( 80s) We all did nothing but fishing on our bicycles catching Snook ,,Bass ,, Tarpon ,,Bream,,Mullet ,,Gar and whatever else we could catch or snitch,,, He used to tell us about Peacock Bass in the Amazon of Colombia and now it's Crazy we have P 's plus all kind of Oscars n Cyclids plus the Snakeheads ,,Clown Knife and whatever else has taken over our waters !! Plus the Pythons,,Iguanas and countless other lizards I see in parking lots that didn't exist in my youth !! South Fla on Both Sides of the Glades is Truly living in the Tropics the Caribbean 💯!!!
