Because the blinds are too long for the windows you can easily shorten them. On the bottom of the blind you will find plastic plugs. You pop those out and you will see that the cords are held in place with the plugs. You remove the extra slats, shorten the strings, put the plugs back in place and your blinds will now fit your windows perfectly. Good job completing your projects.

Hey bud. Doing great work, lovin the channel. I'm new to the channel and don't know what state you are in. Im from and live in Vermont. Just a bonus piece of info for you. As a logger and person who heats with wood, I can attest to this. I try to avoid stacking firewood in the structure where you live. If you are finding you notice more ants, or if termites are a concern in your state, stacked firewood is the perfect nesting ground for nuisance bugs and critters. Just a quick tip. Maybe you are all set. This is just something we pay attention to in Vermont. Generally our wood storage structure or just pile we don't keep in too close to the house . Love the channel. More Al! haha

You do wonderful work you have a beautiful cabin and to think of curtains and blinds cuz most cabin builds that I have seen don't cover the windows!! So kudos to you it makes it look so homely and it just makes the place look nice!! 👍 Plus it gives you a degree of privacy 😊😊

You still need to put antifreeze in all your drains that have the u shape clean out traps because they will hold water and the joints will freeze and split. Same with your toilet.

Diego I did the same thing here at home I live here in New York and I take off in the winter and what I did I put my shut off valve in front of my main water supply I open up all of the valves in the house and I hit it with air and you can buy a valve at home Depot that has that fitting that you were just talking about about putting air to it and I took and I hit it with air before I leave and by doing that all all the pipes all the valves all the drains are completely emptied out so I don't have to worry about things freezing in the winter cuz I got a two-story house and that's a big concern at the top about the water just to let you know and another thing that you could do is just take a regular faucet put it in between the main line and shut the main line off and take an air hose with the rubber tip on it cuz it'll fit tight inside the of the water faucet valve and hit it with air and it'll just blow everything right on out you got to use 120 psi to do it so you got to be you know pay attention but it gets all water out of the lines just the food for thought

You need to get yourself a wood plug and dowel kit. Comes with a drill bit and hog and dowel all perfectly size. Allows you to make wood plugs for finish work so hhide hardware, also dowels for strength. I am a home builder and use the kit all the time. And I bust my fair share of chairs (rhyme not intended). And you can never have "too much glue". You did it right. Glue the crap outta it and whipe away the rest.

Make a connector to attach to shower head to connect air hose since it’s highest spot and pressurize system open hot with air then go around to each hot water spot and open till dry then close then do same to cold water spots then low drain spots lasts….been doing this for 20 years at my cabin and never an issue

Diego do you have any videos that cover the cost of what your propane or fuel uses are on a monthly or yearly level? Just trying to gather info. Thanks. My research says the fridge alone runs about 55 days on 100 gallons.

So this is a late comment, did you ever remove all the extra slats on your blinds? I had 13 windows that i installed blinds just like uours and they all could drop to the floor so i took the plugs off the bottom msin slat and pulled out all the extra slats. Put the bottom main slat just below the window slat holder netting snd put the ropes and plugs back in. Makes them look way more custom. I sure there is a you tube how to do it.
