I think this might be my favorite video series you've put out. The format, the visuals, what she says, all the content on this trip highlights the community aspect of Fixed gear. Excellent work!

So happy to see you interviewing Brittany. I just returned from Japan in Nov and said next time I go I'm bringing my bike. She is right about the culture. Very structured and safe. I needed some more food too 😂 Its good to hear her experience and I like that shes older too and keeps it a buck lol Brittany I am inspired sis. Thank You!🙏🏾💙

I once forgot my card in the ATM at the bank... I realized about 20 mins later when trying to pay for coffee. Hurried back to find about 6 Japanese customers standing around a wildly beeping ATM with my card still sticking out. Let me tell you, they were so relieved I showed up, because they couldn't leave otherwise due to a sense of duty. I felt sooo bad. Japan is different.

I'm cycling around Japan in the osaka area and stumbled across this, I have a fixie but I love riding up the local mountains so I usually find myself riding my road bike haha. It's pretty beat up so I can launch it off curbs, do wheelies, jumps, drifts, and don't have to worry about messing it up haha. But my fixie I keep inside, and bring it out now and again to ride around town where it's flat.

These are a lot of the same reasons why I enjoy travel as well. Literally any other place I've been has that community wholeness vibe. America is fucked on that one. Also I kinda like the language divide cause it means you take time to slow down and actually understand each other thru body language etc.

Why mix tube/tubeless, back to front?
@SHADETREE666
@SHADETREE666 Ай бұрын
Skidding through a patch on a tubeless tire could get messy. This is only my assumption but it’s as good a guess as any. She also had a double flat on that century+ ride so maybe she just put a tube in the rear cuz that’s all she had.
