This is my third interview with Jeremy, who is a recycler, scavenger, and “mobile yard sale” operator. He is also homeless, but doesn’t use the shelters because he would lose his stuff and his cart each night. I see him around the neighborhood every now and then, and I ran across him again on Christmas Eve, so we did another short follow up video. This is perhaps starting to become a regular series.
This video is part of an ongoing series of occasional informal conversations/interviews with people that I happen to run across on the streets, mostly in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco.
I don't pretend to have any solution for, or special insight into, the world's problems, such as homelessness or drug use. Nor do I claim to be a great interviewer (or interview editor). I'm just interested in hearing people's stories, whoever they may be and whatever their situation may be.
Perhaps you'll find these conversations interesting as well, and perhaps they will put some names and stories to some of the faces you may see on the street.
