This video is part of an ongoing series of occasional informal, impromptu conversations/interviews with various people that I happen to run across on the streets of San Francisco. Dennis is originally from Budapest, Hungary, although he has been in the U.S. a long time now. He is currently homeless and living on the streets.
I don't pretend to have any solution for, or special insight into, the world's problems, such as homelessness . Nor do I claim to be a great interviewer (or interview editor). And, actually, I was pretty rusty during this interview, not having done one for a long time. I'm just interested in hearing people's stories, whoever they may be and whatever their situation may be. Perhaps you'll find these conversations interesting as well, and perhaps they will put some names and stories to some of the faces you may see on the street.
Any opinions expressed by the person(s) interviewed are theirs alone and do not necessarily represent my opinions. I'm not an "investigative journalist" and do not attempt to verify the veracity of anything said during the conversations.
Dennis granted permission for this interview to be published online. As is the case with most of my on-the-street interviews, Dennis was paid a small fee for appearing.
