I read this multiple times and couldnt tell if it was sarcasm, so my bad if I'm way off base lol. Honestly, I wish there was a little less "direction", or atleast dont show it as much in the edit. Mack and David going off on a random tangent is hilarious and it'd be cool if they'd let it play out more often. Instead of, "well lets get back to what we were talking about...", I watched these episodes w/ my Mom growing up and I like hearing about the random shit that pops into their heads about filming the episode and even stuff thats going on in their day to day now.

@@pnwguy00 Lol no. 90s kids and 80s kids (millennials) are getting killed by salaries decreasing while the cost of living increases, interest rates for mortgages have increased, housing costs have increased, rent costs have increased, inflation has increased, student debt has increased, There are plenty articles/resources you can search online for why 90’s kids/ millennials are the ones who pay the price of a poor economy Generations before were able to buy houses for much less, own homes for much less while getting paid an affordable income

I think this is just something television does. Give a fantasy on what we want for friendships or any relationships. Plus this show was pre internet so we did connect better back then , though still kind of different as many are still busy after work and might not be able to come have coffee and cake often. That said I still think 7th Heaven did a good job ot showing a family that was not perfect but worked through issues and loved eachother , though some of Mary's story was a little different and doesnt fit that as well.

I started my rewatch during the last few months since I was much younger when the show aired but I never realized how unserious & unhinged this show was but I love it. 🤣 I suggest everyone watches the show as these episodes come out because it is helpful yet fun with all of the behind the scenes tea. One thing I would hope to see in the future is maybe inserted clips from the episodes or some photos to help with the scenes especially with the 90s outfit poll so we can judge too! P.s. Beverly, you were always a great actress! I know it's not easy watching yourself back then but for your age your acting was believable and you made Lucy relatable for us all! 💕 (I cannot wait for you to get to the episode where Lucy loses her friend, your acting was everything!)

😂 Lmao David, I do the exact same thing when giving someone the little violin 🎻 🤣 😁 I actually brought that same clear phone like the one Mary and Lucy shared on ebay a few years ago. I love that thing. Even though we no longer have a landline, I like displaying it in my room, pretending to make a call on it and bringing it to the school I work at to show the kids what we used before cellphones. I so remember sharing one line with my parents and brother. I remember how when computers and internet was slowly making their way into people's houses, how you could only be on one: either the phone or internet, asking someone to get off the internet to make a call, calling home and hearing the connecting static was your way of knowing someone was on the internet and you had to call back. The dreaded cord, twirling it and then asking my parents for a cordless phone so I could walk around my room while talking on the phone to friends 😊 good times

19:16 I'm kinda the keeper of things, too. Since I was a toddler, if Mom or Dad couldn't find something they were looking for, they would ask me where it was. I would go and bring back the missing item. Apparently, I hid Dad's car keys at one point😅. To this day, if they can't find something, they ask me if I had seen it. I once, while camping, found a friend's blue contact lens while playing in the dirt. When asked if anyone's found it, I said something like, "Is that what this is?" 😄That's one of the quirks of having Asperger's♾️. Alright, that does it!! I'm subscribing!!!!

Hello Beverly, David and Mackenzie: It’s me, Agustin, one more time writing to you guys. It's great to be here once again after watching one more Podcast episode. I must confess I am surprised you did another Reaction episode (actually it's a Review). Are you for real going to review every single episode of 7th Heaven. That would be Extraordinary, because it would be The ride of your lives (and ours as well). Just saying, you could do it (and that is what we fans want). 😇 Let me present to you some statistics (just like I did in the previous video): by covering the first two episodes of the show, you have covered 0.823% of 7th Heaven. You still have 241 episodes to go. But I believe in you guys, and I will be here for the 9+ years that it would take to do it. I also hope you guys figure out to do a proper Rewatch (with some video component on screen) that would not be a problem with the KZbin copyright. 😕 Regarding the content of "Family Secrets" I can say that I do remember quite a lot of this episode. Somehow, I remember the first couple of seasons much more vividly than the last seasons. So yeah, I can recall the events in here. And I always considered that the show was quite daring in covering these kind of difficult topics (a relative with a life-ending illness, or teen pregnancy) right from the beginning. This is what set this show apart from all the others of its kind (and in my opinion made it the best of them all) because it was great to see a loving functional family that faced big (realistic) life issues and solved them. 🥺 The conversation about pregnancy cravings was really interesting. I am very surprised to hear that Beverly and Mackenzie had such big pregnancy cravings. I used to believe they were fake and just an excuse for women to eat special stuff, but nowadays I am convinced they are real and should be handled with respect. Those aversions against chicken and coffee sound quite strong. On the other hand, if David's wife ate a lot of Italian food while pregnant that sounds amazing (what type of food is Cuban Food? I have no idea). 🤔 The moon rocks detail. I have forgotten about it ever since! They sound like the most boring toy ever for a kid. And the discussion on the Phone Landline takes back some memories. I kinda remember the Camdens phone (very 90s) and how much you kids used to fight because of having 1 landline for the entire house (with several physical phones all around the house). In real life it would have been such a chaos especially because of the lack of Call Waiting or a Caller ID. 😕 I would love to hear a little more about you guys' parents and how they were when you were teenagers. It must have been very difficult to be the parent of a (quite famous) teen actor. And I am sure that you guys must have (very interesting) stories of how you defied your parents as teenagers. We would Love to hear those (just for the laughs) because they somehow mirror every kid's experience growing up. That would be quite eye-opening for us to hear. 😲 That detail of all the kids' heads around the staircase was very funny. Now I realize that the set was small and those "stairs to nowhere" had so little space that I am surprised you managed to do such a pose in there. I wonder how you guys managed to wait up where in the small space on takes. And I am really rethinking on the concept of "how much of the set is finished and what spaces are just dead ends". The magic of editing made it look like the house was So Big and comfortable. 😊 I also forgot all the subplot of that nurse hitting on Eric. Quite interesting and I guess it gave the comedic touch in the episode (specially that later church scene) and was something quite random. I am really expectant to hear from you guys which parts of the episodes you consider funny or the comedic relief from all the drama. I wonder who the actress who portrayed that nurse was. 🤔 The Jimmy Moon conversation is great, because he is unforgettable in the story. He really had The Best name ever. I wanna see him once again as a guest on this podcast. I wonder what has been of his life. As you once said, he does have a Leonardo DiCaprio style. If you dress Jimmy Moon as Jack Dawson, he will be spot on. 🤣 My highlights of this video are: 2:01 - "We are sensitive souls". Understood. I have pressed all the buttons to support you guys. 👍 6:09 - "You're normally violent" and "For the record I am a very gentle soul... My bark is much bigger than my bite" Quite an interesting interaction between you guys. 😄 10:46 - "Do you know how many dates Lucy might have missed out on because of the lack of Call Waiting?" and then "And business opportunities that Simon might have missed out?" Great response by David by the way. 😅 15:35 - Is it difficult to see oneself on TV because of Mortification? I guess so, but as David said, your scenes were Solid, and you don't give yourselves credit enough for a job well done. ✅ 20:04 - Mack's impersonation of her daughter and David's parenting hack are great. In retrospective, I like to vacuum (because it's funny). LMAO. 😁 24:19 - Great improvisation from David. He is the one who does the least number of jokes in these podcast episodes, so it's nice to catch one. 😉 25:04 - That Curb Your Enthusiasm comment and Beverly's response "Let's pivot right back into this episode" was spot on. Beverly keeps being quite mortified when you guys deviate from the topic. 😅 28:21 and 50:45 - That sentence. I don't agree with it and it has not aged well. But let's be honest: That is what the show tried to push. 😧 29:12 - "We invented teenage pregnancy for sure". Why is Mack always with the funniest bits of every video? 😃 39:36 - That moment when Beverly gets cringe by a random scene. As David said, your performance was great. You don't give yourself credit enough. 🙂 42:45 - I never noticed that Matt hit Lucy with the elbow. Interesting. 😨 45:17 - Observation or intelligence? I also was thinking about why Beverly said that regarding Mary's kiss session. 😳 51:00 - What did the voice in off say? I am SO curious to get to know. 🫣 51:50 - "If you lie to me... I can't help you". That quote is SO GOOD. I gotta copy that for my own life. 😉 I must admit that on retrospective all that topic of "you kids don't know how babies are made" is quite weird and perhaps the most unrealistic aspect of the episode. Even back on the 90s it's quite weird to see almost teens acting so clueless to that topic. I guess that whole idea has not aged properly but it stands as a product of its time. No problem with that. 🥺 I agree with you guys doing the "MVP of the episode" and the "90s fashion award" because I can relate to that. I always remember that every Camden in 7th Heaven was SO Fashionable (even when portrayed as you guys just hanging around on the house on weekends. You were Fashionable all the time). As a kid I would have Loved to have Simon's boots or Matt's jackets. As far as I am concerned, you guys popularized fashion styles that I copied as a teenager and beyond. Seriously. 👍 I have a couple of questions for you guys. I still have the hope one day you will be able to answer them: - Please name one TV (or movie) role you auditioned, and you Really wanted to get but you did not get. 🤔 - While you were filming the show, Did you guys celebrate each one's birthdays with the cast and crew of the show? What did you do for birthday celebrations? 🙂 - Did you ever consider naming on of your children as characters from 7th Heaven? Why didn't you do so? 😲 - Was there any moment when you disagreed with a scene or behavior for your character and you asked for it to be changed? - If you could have made 1 more extra filming set for the show, Which place would you have chosen for a filming set? 🙃 - Would you have liked to get 7th Heaven action figures of yourselves? If so, what outfit do you think your action figure should have? 😀 - And a crazy random question for each one of you: Do you guys follow any professional sport league in particular? Are you fans of a team? 😜 Ok, I guess that will be all for today. Thanks once again for the Good Job at making this podcast. It brings me a lot of joy to see you guys and reconnect with 7th Heaven. It's a piece of TV history that I hold close to my heart. I will be waiting for the next podcast episode. I hope to see Catherine soon (or anyone from the very long list of people that I want to see once again). 😉 Bye Agustin.

I think all of the actors did a great job with 7th Heaven. It has been one of my top favorites for a long time. I need to give Mackenzie and David props though! I always thought they portrayed the sibling relationship so well even though they were both so young when it aired. They already seemed to have amazing timing and just natural talent separate but also together. I’m not sure what it is but I think older shows had better individuals choosing between actors for roles. A lot of older shows had the right actors at the right time and a lot of those casts had great chemistry. I personally don’t think you find that as often now. Maybe it’s just me. For example, shows like Gilmore Girls or Everybody Loves Raymond wouldn’t have worked as well, in my opinion, with even just one different cast member and I think 7th Heaven is the same way. You all fit together well and made us believe we were watching a real family through good and bad and I just think that is cool how you stay in touch and actually sound kinda like siblings when talking to each other. 😃

I think they said they might be able to on Patreon. They can't watch it on KZbin without having copyright issues.

They can't watch and talk at the same time. It would be awful. I prefer the way they are doing.
