Looks like a little piece of heaven out there! Gotta love that early season fishing.You could try your sculpin jig with a drop shot gulp minnow 15" above it. Gives them a couple choices. Also more crap to snag in your net!

Would your rod and reel setup in this video be a good choice for all types of walleye fishing? ( jigging, bottom bouncing and blades) thanks for your videos. I am fishing a little up river from you in lake umatilla and wallula.

The setup I feature here can be used for all jigging and blade baits. For trolling with bottomwalkers and crankbaits I prefer level wind setups.

Yes in certain places, they will move up shallower at night to feed and you can spot their eyes glowing with a flashflight

Most of the Columbia around Umatilla would be safe but you have to pick your weather days in a small boat.
