TaeYong is a fan of Afrobeats music and dance. So he choreographed the Nigerian Legwork Dance influence, for the chorus of the song in an hour. The choreo uses a few popular African dances. I read that Taeyong didn't think the chorus choreo was hype enough, so he put together the dance moves and presented it to SM in one hour. SM went with his choreo over the professional choreographers. The reggaeton/afrobeats sound of this song is 🔥.
