your dad looks amazing and so cheerful after his recovery! i hope he feels better soon even though it may be a long process. my mom has recently finished her chemo as well (her hair is growing back and its so cute and fluffy!!) and it hasnt been an easy journey for her, but she's still giggling about life everyday and that gives me so much hope. i hope you and your fam have a very merry christmas!!

I was scared for this year’s Christmas, as I’ve moved out for the first time and a lot has changed with my family, but once I accepted change as one of the fundamental parts of life, I no longer felt fear with the holiday. ahh, the little note in the description hit very close to home. I'm still quite young, but this Christmas was quite different from my past not necessarily in a bad way but I wasn't really looking forward to gifts. But rather the time, and happily the food id get to eat with my family the past 20 hours have been quite delightful. As always I'm glad you share these moments of your life with us I always look forward to them but overall thank you so far for these December daily I know how much it means to you. I rarely comment but i just wanted to say thank you for sharing such personal moments of ur life, through your vlogs and your description messages. I have a lot of family members who have suffered from cancer as well, and Im so glad to hear about ur dad's good health. These videos make me so happy and im smiling the entire time. happy holidays Annabelle. Seemed already like a pleasant and nice Christmas. This year I spend my holidays far away from my family and while being ill. I moved to another country this year and it’s really difficult during this time because it’s all about family. My boyfriends family celebration was amazing, but nothing compares to see your own relatives all having a lot of laugh and fun, helping in the kitchen with mum. I miss them so much and can’t wait to see them next year when I will come for visit.

merry christmas, annabelle! your description letter was so touching. i've been reflecting a lot on that lately as well. ever since i moved away for college 4 years ago my gears have shifted and the holidays have finally become more about family and friends than the gifts i receive. it's so easy to be discontent and constantly yearn for more things, it can be hard to defeat that. but i find so much joy now in just...putting my phone down and forgetting about what i have to spend time with family and laugh and eat and play. it's so good to see your dad, he looks so happy and wonderful. im so, so glad he is feeling well and that he has conquered his cancer. that is so amazing!!

As the years pass for me with my family I feel the same way.
