Excellent! This movement almost sounds, as if it came from a lost harpsichord concerto by J.S. Bach. The stylistic similarities with Bach found in this concerto movement are really striking, whereas other works by her on KZbin sound much more rococo ("galant") in style.

She was the sister of Frederick the Great of Prussia, who was also a noted flautist and wrote the theme for Bach's Musical Offering.

It would be ironic, to say the least, that Frederick the Great's entire litter of siblings were all musically talented. Such a pity that the Soldier King was so severely abusive to his talented children.

Yes, it is from the furore-Verlag

Might be actually by Johann Gotthilf Jänichen (1701-1800).

+Tassos Dimitriadis I come from Bayreuth and I am positive that this musical work was composed by Wilhelmine von Bayreuth. Undoubtably......
@TASSOS19658 жыл бұрын
+Markus Fuchs Might be so. The Jänichen attribution is still not established.

@irenehegen8044 жыл бұрын
Wikipedia u.a.).
