Cateye swap on 99-02 GMC Sierra

My truck is a 2000 GMC Sierra I decided to put a 2003 Chevy Silverado front clip on it. The parts I used are

i have a 2000 gmc sierra and want to do the same thing but don’t know the details of everything that needs to be switched like obviously the hood, fenders, grille, headlights and bumper. things i don’t know is radiator headlight mounting brackets and don’t want to start that project and find something i didn’t plan for and also don’t know if everything besides the bumper is just unbolt rebolt

@@burberking8546 the fenders, hood, grille, and headlight mounting brackets are different. Core support and inner fenders are the same. Radiator is the same. You need to use the Cateye hood mounts too

If anyone watches this and wonders what all you need is a 1 grille 2 hood 3 both fenders 4 headlights duhhhh 5 front bumper 6 front bumper mounts 7 headlight buckets or headlight radiator things just look up headlight buckets If you got all those things it’s easy aslong as you get good fenders that don’t have rust holes I mean speed holes but I can touch my fuse box from underneath the wheel well and everything still bolted up fine just letting people know my experience of it my truck went from a 2000 gmc to an 03 cateye sorta

And also you can do this to a 99 to 02 Silverado and a gmc from 2000 to 06 or 07 I’d check to make sure but I think so but don’t quote me on that hope this helps someone bc I needed to know all this shit before and didnt

I was trying to do the front end swap on my 2002 gmc and I got all the brackets u showed but it leaves a big gap between the bumper and grill

Yeah don’t ever do that front end swap it’s illegal and you can’t do that in the DMV or change your truck color
