CATFISH NOODLING: We Finally Found Some Fish!!

We’ve had a super slow year, other than me catching my BIGGEST BLUE CAT EVER and my 2nd biggest fish! The video is already up if you haven’t seen it! So this trip dad gets to grab 3 fish! We had only a little time to go with the rain and bad weather, but we managed!

I had a Uncle by marriage when I was a kid that your Dad makes me think of so much, you are lucky to have a mentor in your life like him, seems he was tempered by hard times to learn a lot of skills, my Uncle Larry Jr was that way, wasn't much he couldn't hunt, trap, catch or build and that got passed to me, to my kids and grandkids. @Dalai Lama Prime Minister - Wakanda Catfish are great, they are easy to clean and if you do it right you can have boneless fillets easily. I personally find the best eating are about 2 foot long. Plenty of meat and very mild. Nail their head to a tree or a stump. Perforate the skin and use a pair of pliers and skin them. then just cut the fillets off, pull the nail and leave the rest their. the raccoons and other critters need to eat to and it will be gone the next day.

Are hush puppies the same as tatter tots? We used to catch what we called ling cods, nobody would eat them, we hit em over the head and threw em back in, are they the same as catfish, they sure look the same?
