Catfish Tacklebox

I know, I know. I say tool box a few times. In a sense, a tackle box really is a tool box for fishing. Here is a look at what I lug around with me whenever I hit the water.

Very nice set up and gear. Makes me want to go Rip some lips lol. Guess I'm kind of old fashioned because I like the plastic classic 3 tray. Lol. But 1 thing I don't see is some cci shotshells for poisonous snakes. Most fishermen carry guns with them just6 incase they run into a big snake or pissed off sasquatch lol. 😁👍

yea so for me i got a similar set up but i got a combination of half bass gear and baits and half channel cats so this way im prepared for either bass or for channel cats and i got similar hand protection like you got except got mine from home depot and it helps so you dont get stung and another thing i always tell others is research and look up your local state laws because in my state there are no channel cat laws so i can use banquet maple sausage and hot dogs which actually work pretty well another thing is i have a cutting board in my tackle box just because there might be times where i might want to cut up hot dogs or banquet maple sausages or something right there on the spot or something so its useful and comes in handy so you dont get yer boat or somebody else's boat dirty.

i once caught a channel cat on a crankbait just like the 1 you showed here. you're the 4th angler to show your tackle set up which is exactly what i was looking for , im contemplating about turning my walmart brand ozark trail into catfish tackle bag so i can have my fishing backpack store all my bass gear and the tackle bag for all my channel cat gear im gonna go to walmart and pick up weights and hooks i got a ton of interchangeable swivels that i plan to use for bass and channel catfishing. My plan is to buy the lead pyramid weight and the egg weights and other weights as well so i can have a channel cat tackle bag the good thing about a tackle bag is the 100% depending on the size you can lay the binders flat on the bottom and stack them up so you can hold 3 or 4 binders in 1 bag more then enough for general anglers. over all well put together and you earned a new sub

Nice. I have my Cabela bag set up like this. I was asked once why do you carry a store with you. Well looking at this video proves why. I even have a couple of reels in my bag. Like you said JUST IN CASE.

If anyone needs sinkers it found a guy selling 2oz and up for $2 dollars a pound. I found him watching reel catfishing. He's trustworthy and reliable. Be careful buying hooks on Amazon. They are mostly counterfeit Gamakatsu hooks

Are you a veteran? You got your name written on your tackle bag in multiple spots. That's something I do as a veteran that I had to do in the military and especially when I would deploy to Iraq. Cause everyone's gear looks the same in the army. It carried over with me to the civilian life. I also have written my name on my tackle bag in multiple spots lol. Just thought that was cool and funny.

Sgt. Skinner I am not. My father and grandfather were (Vietnam and Korean Wars), and it’s probably something I got from them. I remember seeing my grandfather’s last name written on everything ever since I can remember. And I’ve been doing it ever since I can remember. I write my last name on everything

@@WhiskerWhippers it's a good habit to have. I have recovered stolen property of mine do to me writing my name also in a place that is not obvious. A guy stole my stuff and took a sharpie and covered up my name, and i told the cop where I wrote my name on the inside and the guy that stole from me didn't know i wrote it in on the inside. So I got my gear back and he got in trouble. So its a good habit to practice. Thanks for sharing.

@@WhiskerWhippers yeah the funny thing is it was my catfish tackle bag that is like yours but a little different. And after seeing your tackle box you know that all that stuff costs good money. I had over 250 bucks with of gear and line and terminal tackle. I was fishing a lake by my house, and to get to the water you have to walk down a step hill that is made out of thousands of big rocks. So it's easy to fall, and you have to pick a good path back up, I was leaving and was packing up and taking my gear up to the top of the hill, trip by trip. And when i was down packing up more stuff a guy at the top of the hill grabbed my tackle bag and I chased him a whole mile back to his truck and luck would have it a game warden was in the parking lot. I was so happy to get my tackle bag back. Years of stuff I have bought in it. It had over 150 circle hooks from gamakatsu to team catfish in it. Thats one thing you don't mess with.
