The older I get the less actual fishing tackle i carry. I carry a small backpack more for carrying water and food and what little tackle I carry are in zip lock bags. One quart bag with a few tiny snack bags with a few sizes and types of hooks, a bag of sinkers and a few big floats. When doing overnighters I have an eberlestock mainframe pack with their giant dry bag for extra clothes, jacket, inflatable pad, wobbie, etc and strap on my regular fishing backpack to it

Have you ever tried Kahle hooks? I love em bc they almost always sink in the corner of the mouth and allow a hard hook set
