Dave, try putting a big enough bead above your swivel/leader to keep your board above it. It will prevent your boards from running on down to the fish. Keeps from beating up your boards and fish, and also keeps the fish from using the boards as leverage to pull the hook……like the flathead. Try it, if you dont like it, take them off. Bet you like it……

Thanks for the video! Always look forward to them. My favorite channel. Most the time I catch fresh bait but there are some times when I don't get a chance or its hard to get. I have soaked chicken breast in vanilla extract overnight and that seems to work when I'm on the fish.

The title should’ve been ACTION DAVE strikes AGAIN!!!! Hotter than hell the bite was kicking, wearing them out with skip jack and CHICKEN!! Planer board right and planer board left, what’s under the cork is chicken itself! Channels and blues that flat head he missed but catfish Dave will never get pissed!
