I make my own very similar to those. I use heat shrink tubing, put old tire weights in one end and foam caulk filler in the other. Place a big swivel in the end with the foam and heat it up until it seals. They work great for me.

I'm looking at buying a GPS controlled trolling motor for a small boat. When I look for a MinnKota Powerdrive trolling motor, I have found that they do not use GPS. Your trolling motor seems to be a GPS controlled machine. It seems to work well without swinging wildly side to side when spot locked. Was wondering if, maybe, you gave the wrong model name of the trolling motor. Would be nice to know. Love your content. Would like to see more of your bank fishing roots, though. So much tougher. Thanks, Dave!

TRIVIA - What is the biggest freshwater fish in the world? The beluga sturgeon in Russia is the largest freshwater fish in the world. The white sturgeon is the largest freshwater fish in North America. White sturgeon have been reported to reach lengths of 15-20 feet and weights of nearly one ton. The second largest freshwater fish in North America is the alligator gar. Wow!

Why are most of the boat docks, piers and sitting out of the water ? The banks seem higher than most lakes?
@waterdog39782 жыл бұрын
It’s a flood control lake, goes down 30 feet in winter. When it rains hard they can store it instead of flooding everything downstream

Make your own everyone, it's very easy. 3:1 Adhesive heatshrink tubing, 1/4" Lead wire or shotgun shot, and some sinker slides. That's all you need, and they are the same or higher quality than anything you can buy, plus you can make them custom weight and lengths.

Nice weights I make may own version with lead shot and foam for floatation on the top end to save a little money! They will hang but like you said not very often ! I’ve ask before but got no answer about Tim’s Ford if you have ever fished it ? It looks very good on navionics just wondering if it has good bluecats ?

So what I dont understand about your lakes is for example tonight, I caught a 16lb channel cat. A decent fish in our 10,000 acre lake. We have no blues of size or number here because they were just recently released, but 20 to 25lb channel's are caught here regularly. Do you not have any that size? Cuz they would easily eat those baits.

Tiger won a lot of majors and so did Jack. But have you ever looked at how many 2nd and 3rd places Jack also won over his career - mind blowing. The point being - when you are a master of your craft , you continually put up big numbers whether you catch the mack daddy fish on any particular venture. Catfish Dave boats an amazing number of large blue cats on such a consistent basis. Almost anybody can catch a big one almost by accident once or twice , but it takes a lot of skill to pull in these large fish trip after trip after trip. You are one skilled angler CD - what I dreamed about as a kid but never attained.

Thanks for the tackle review! $4.50 is cheap. I enjoy making my own, but by the time I buy the stuff, I probably have $4 in them. (Coiled lead, heat shrink and clip per Fishin N Stuff video - youtuber and a sub to this channel). I also make my own planer boards, but I wish I could find the bigger float material like you have on that B-Kat planer board. I want the float to have more buoyancy to pop the rig up better.
