Just putting this out there: there is no such thing as “yearly” contacts. I’ve worn circle lenses (which are marketed as good for one year) for YEARS and I ruined my my eyes. I thought it I cleaned them well, it’d be fine...right? I developed corneal stem cell deficiency and neutovascularization. I can no longer wear contacts. Just do yourself a favour PLEASE and do NOT wear “yearly” contacts...even if that’s what it says on the bottle. At least see your eye care professional for a doctors opinion as well. You only get one pair of eyes! These companies find loopholes so make their “yearly” contacts. Please be safe!

Vanilla Latte No 10 months is too long as well and speak to your eye care professional. Treat them like monthly lenses. I don’t think lenses are manufactured to be used for any longer than one month. The way they make “yearly” lenses without being disciplined is that they find loopholes in manufacturing regulations. For instance, in Canada, all provinces regulate contact lens production/distribution relatively closely - except Vancouver. So a company may produce their lenses in Vancouver and sell online because in the province of Vancouver, it’s not regulated as closely and therefore, legal (I believe that’s how Clearly Contacts is able to sell prescription lenses online). So they can put “yearly” on the lens...even if it’s not. They can put 10 years and customers like me and you will still believe them because that’s what it says on the package...right? Do not treat it as you would the expiration on dairy products. Speak to a professional and get an opinion and most importantly, be safe.
