Hi Nina, two questions - will this work on older women? And do you ever find that your concealer “balls” up or looks like eraser bits after you apply concealer? I have tried numerous eye creams and many concealers. I typically buy more luxury brands. I am desperate for help without looking too dry or old under my eyes. 🥴🙏🏻

sorry but I have to ask . has wearing makeup all your life affected your skin in any way? like premature wrinkles, dry skin, etc..?
@rennis49382 жыл бұрын
@@isalilbella Hello, in response to your question....I have aged gracefully. I want to say that I sometimes didn't wash off my makeup and I had acne breakouts. So frustrating, didn't realize what caused those breakouts until I was in my 30s. I learned that I had to take the time to wash off the makeup..not once but 2x, then do a LAst wash. I know it seems like alot. BuT, if you take 10-15 minutes to Apply makeup...it should take equally the same time to get it off. Have I dry and wrinkled skin...YES...it's called aging. But I can say, that makeup good makeup removal, do moisturize, moisturize, moisturize...it does not have to be expensive lotions, potions. It has to be moisture, around eyes, eye lids, face, neck, decoupage, Chest area...moisture. I can say also that I use dollar store facial lotions and apply liberally. As with any product make sure it works for you. Use caution when applying new products, expensive or dollar store. To sum it all up..moisture is key, after makeup removal from face, and before bed. Take time for your beautiful skin at the end of the day, just like makeup preparation before going out. Avoid crepe skin...by moisturizing your whole body. Promise it works. I am over 65 ..people guess I'm late 40s. Thanks for reading my makeup life experiences.

I don't even how I ended up watching this video but I absolutely LOVED it! I have given up on make-up for the most part for many years. I have recently had a spark of reinterest in it and I was stunned by the difference in the shine. That is a huge problem for me and of course, I didn't apply powder correctly either. I always feel just as you said, like I can't wait to get my face washed! I don't want to spend long on makeup or wear much because I only run to the local store once and again, but I do want the small amount of makeup I do wear to stay on. This might make me give it a go again. I have no cash to buy products right now, but I think it may be a goal for the future. As I just started getting back into makeup and bought many eyeshadows and some matte lipsticks. I am 55 and have horrific excess eyelid skin and of course hooded. So I am trying to find something that works for me. I tried the other artist's tricks and it doesn't work for me. So we shall see where this revived interest takes me. Thank you for sharing. Many have problems with dark circles under eyes and even wrinkles there. Thank you for advices Nina!🌹 Your make up looks perfect 👍🏻🌟But the result and success of a perfect make up always depends on cosmetics we use, the brands. As my experience shows, cheap cosmetics never works. So don't economy your money if you want to look really beautiful 😊 Shiseido line or Mac for eyes are the best to my mind. Always use their consealers. But the half of beauty look depends on the daily creams we use. Cuz they work with skin and build it as a foundation. Such sponge I have but never used, prefer doing it with my fingers 🙌🏻 But now I see how greatly it works on skin. So will try it next time 😉

Thank you so much for sharing your technique. When I 1st started using the setting powder for my company I really struggled with the creasing and my foundation looking cakey. I'm getting better but this technique will be very helpful for me to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Oh my this is amazing. I literally own 16 concealers because none of them seemed to work. They creased heavily and the lines under my eyes got far worse than without using concealer. I even stopped using setting powder because it only dried out my under eye area and made the creasing even worse. But hey, I also have dark circles so I had to try your technique… such a surprise! Your way to apply products finally ended the creasing-problem, so now I have 16 concealers to enjoy. ;) Thanks A LOT!

More than fashionably late here, y’all… however, I followed this tutorial today - mind you, I’m almost 40 years old - and got carded for the first time, in quite some time, today. My testament.

Omg! Nina, can I just say how much this video has helped me. No longer do I have those tired looking bags and creases at the end of the day. I've been using this technique for a week as I wanted to see if I just got lucky on my first go....nope! It's worked every single day. I've just got home from 11 hours at work and my makeup and under eye area looks just as fresh now as this morning. Can't thank you enough. I've watched your other videos and you are incredible. Keep up the amazing work! 👏

Thank you so much for these tips!! So summarizing it’s important to clean off the excess concealer before applying the powder in order to avoid the creases? Am I right?

This is awesome, thank you! Will definitely be giving this a go soon. Thank you for really emphasising that under eye lines are completely normal too. It's so important that people making videos like in particular make these points, so people don't feel they've done something wrong if they can still see lines on their own face even if they weren't visible on video.

Wow first off you are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am in my late 40’s and I am a newbie when it comes to make up. I was busy raising my family that I didn’t really have the time, money, and energy to do all these girly stuff. Now my kids are all grown, I am starting to take care of me, put in a little make up every now and then. I hope to learn many techniques from you.

Nina .. I try and try and try and try using setting powder, but no matter what I do .. it always looks worse. The crows feet are always more pronounced and enhanced. I seriously try to avoid setting powder like the plague. Lol.. I haven’t tried your technique yet, so let’s hope because you look AWESOME! 🙏

I've tried concealer after concealer; always thinking it was the concealer's fault it looked cakey. Your video made me realize it may just be the technique-! I'm going to give this a try when I go out with friends tonight 🤍 Thank you for this helpful video!!

Would love to see you do this on a mature woman. I have a lot more under-eye wrinkles. I am constantly struggling with under eye circles (very dark) and wrinkles. Do I use a corrector first? Too many products under the eye cause me to have creases or the product cakes. :-(. I love this video and will def try your technique.

I just came across your video and I truly love it. Your technique seems to be workable. My only concerns are coverage of color corrector and the transferring of makeup after setting. I have extremely dark circle and I'm 59 yrs young🤨. So creasing, coverage and transferring of makeup is paramount. I can't wait to try your technique and any advice would be helpful. Keep up the good work 😃

@NinaUbhi I absolutely love your videos, and watching them has completely changed how I put my makeup on. I used to find putting my makeup on a chore and now that I have been watching your videos, I can't wait to put my makeup on! One thing that I have always found to be an issue with me is humidity and how my makeup ALWAYS melts off during days with high humidity. I have started setting my under eyes since I've been watching you, and my eye makeup lasts no matter how humid it is outside. I am now going to start using setting powder instead of setting spray on my face, hoping it won't cause my face to melt off. I do have a question not relating to your makeup process... I saw that your hair did not budge, become puffy, or do anything that humidity does to one's hair, and given that the humidity that day in your video was extremely high, my question is, how do you get your hair to stay perfect like that in such high humidity???
