Don't hate me, I'm one of those people who didn't really care for the ending. Everything else about the series was very well done, but the ending itself felt...iffy to me. The "added drummer" you're hearing (as with all of the "added" parts like overlapping vocals with 1 singer) is being controlled by the guy at the keyboard station. He's also got loop pedals, synths, and other things strapped to a laptop that he's using to overlay the additional pieces into the song as this little chamber group is playing the keynote pieces.

Tbh I was barely watching as much as I was listening, just assumed there was post processing to add necessary elements. No way they'd get such a full sound with so few instruments so layering and post production goes without saying in my mind

@@CatharsisYT Oh yeah, of course the whole thing went through post before making it into the video. It even went through another layer of musicians and post production before making it into the Season 3 OST. These arrangements are the ones they used for that and it forms the base layer, but there's another layer of stuff they added on top of the raw performance here before it went to the actual cut used in the soundtrack and the animation. Really crazy how many moving parts go into making these.

Yeah, reactions from musicians are THE BEST because they can pin point stuff that the ordinary Joe (= us) will never ever pick up sound-wise. They have a different layer of things to react to than your average reactor. I've watched over 100 different KZbinrs react to AOT so it's like I/we've heard every single perspective possible, but musicians can give us a whole new angle to reactions, making us continue to watch even more AOT reactions. I think it perfectly ties up all the ends (trying not to give any spoilers.) I used to get angry at the people who hated on the ending or disagreed with Eren..because why can't they just understand..but it makes sense. The whole premise of the show is that if there's more than one person then there will be conflict because of having different opinions. The ending being a controversy among the fans is actually a great move by Isayama. It perfectly sums up our world..and that makes me love AoT even more.

People normally upset when people pause/go back in their reaction, but to me (and many others) if the reactor pause and interact with the video, unless only watching it, makes it better, more personally and also its allow the reactor to share better their thoughts, specially when is someone who can tell thing than normal people cant, i.e a drummer and musician explaining whats happening and why or things like that.

I guess you haven't watched AOT. You simplly listened to these music and getting chill is so awsome. Whenever I listen to these music, I remind every lines of the charactor says in the anime, "I underestimated how it can move quickly. I'm doomed. It will grasp my wire. And I'm done. I'm gonna die.'' "This is the last arrow. If I miss it, me and that girl is.... Woooooooo!" I never watched anime that will match every music and each scene. I recommed you to watch AOT.It's a masterpiece.

Wow they are awesome. It would be an insane experience to watch them Live youre right. Are these really Songs from the Anime or does it have nothing to do with it? To your Reaction: I really enjoyed it, the way you react on it is perfect for me. I would say dont Pause the Videos too often but if you have Something to say that Takes some time or goes deep into Something it would be fine for me too. Looking Forward to the next one. :D

Attack on Titan original soundtracks

Yeah all the music here are OST (official soundtrack) from the anime attack on titan, composed by japanese composer Hiroyuki Sawano. He is known for making epic, emotional, and powerful music like in attack on titan and other anime, shows, and movies. I'll name the examples in this suite. The first song at 0:43 is called ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn <WMId> and is part of season 3 OST. It is a new version of the season 1 OST called ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn, but the singer is different as the season 1 version is sung by Mika Koyabashi while the season 3 version is sung by Eliana (who is the woman singing the song in the video). There is also a Season 4 version, called ətˈæk 0N tάɪtnᐸTFSvᐳ. These OST's are the main theme of the show (as the name ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn itself is a fancy way of spelling the name of the show attack on titan), and the melody in them appear in other OST through the series like XL-TT, AOTF-s1, Bauklötze. I love how the epic the main theme, as it invokes the feeling of a hero rising to fight for their freedom, the last stand for humanity, which is what the premise of the show is about initially. When the main theme kicks in, you get chills as its paired with bombastic action scenes. The season 1 version had more noticeable EDM, rock and choir, while with the season 3 version added another layer on top with extra lyrics by a different singer. The season 4 version re-used Eliana's vocals from season 3 version, but the instrumentals are different where it invokes more of a horror feel to it, having screaming gutairs and ominious strings, capturing what once was a heroic main theme into a darker theme that matches how the tone of the show changes. 4:58 is called Before Lights Out from Season 3 OST, and is a vocal version of Season 2 OST APETITAN. Sung by Laco. 7:35 is called K2 from Season 3 9:51 is the second half of YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T from Season 2 OST sung by Gemie . It was a new version of the original Season 1 OST Vogel im Käfig sung by Cyua (second half) Both versions have a different first half. 13:01 is the first half of Season 1 OST cóunter・attàck-mˈænkάɪnd. I wish they played the second half as well, as the second half is more bombastic with epic choir similar to the main theme. 16:08 is Apple Seed from Season 3, sung by mpi & Laco. It is a vocal version of the first half of season 2 OST YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T This suite had some great selections. Some more of my favorites not included in this suite are : Season 1- ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn, The Reluctant Heroes, 立body機motion, Vogel im Käfig, E・M・A, Bauklötze, XL-TT, Call your name, 進撃st-hrn-gt20130629巨人, and 進撃st-hrn-egt20130629巨人 Season 2- YAMANAIAME, So ist es immer, ymniam-MKorch, APETITAN, son2seaVer, Call of Silence, ERENthe標, and attack音D Season 3- Zero Eclipse, 0Sk, 一s十りA, BARRIchestra, 7-b@$, AoTs3-3spens/21石, ThanksAT, ShingekiNoKyojin, T-KT, LENぞ97n10火巨説MAHLE, 2An Season 4- Ashes on The Fire, Guilty Hero, True History, The Warriors, Liberio at Night, AOTF-s1, All of The Freedoms, TRAITOR, Night of The End, THAW, Into the Night, EL○, and ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn

I've heard all the OPs and EDs already, I've played most of them on streams at this point too. The OST doesn't stick nearly as well, but I've seen through s3 and read the manga to the end. The OPs are just so popular people always request them to play

I don't think pauses are needed. Since the music is a bit quieter in the background, your comments over it feel pretty natural. I wouldn't add pauses. Good video :) 👍
