Cathay Pacific CX790 : Flying from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong

To Hong Kong, on Skytrax Best Airline 2014 winner, Cathay Pacific from Kuala Lumpur. This was a very nice flight on Cathay Pacific which I enjoyed very much!
For this afternoon flight, flying time was 4 hrs and 10 minutes, with scheduled departure at 10:30 am, actual being 5 min later, and arrival at 02:40 pm with actual being 20 min early. My seat was 61K, which I had pre-reserved by checking in online.
B-LBE, a 6 month old A330-300 was the aircraft.
With surety I can say that I eagerly look forward to flying on Cathay Pacific again, and hopefully that flight comes around sooner than later. There is a return flight trip report to look forward to of course! But, no harm in another CX TR sometime in the future, right?

Great Video! I always enjoy watching your videos and your ratings. What I like the most is your editing especially you don't waste time on taxiing part. But a small suggestion, please show the take off part without editing and do not play music as I think many aircraft lovers would love to listen to the roar of different aircraft and their engines. +Theairplaneguy4ever thanks for the info. I note that the image quality is quite good and it retains the 60fps that you've recorded in. I use a Sony A6000 and record in 50fps but I find that when I put it into iMovie, it becomes jerky as if it was only 24mps. So I'm currently in the process of looking for a new video editing program. Would you recommend the Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12? Thanks!

Thanks For Sharing. Very good editing btw. The Cathay crew can be heard screaming in the background 'Take Your Seats' When the plane landed which I thought was funny. And the flight seemed rather noisy too :P

Right at 9:27 when you were deliberating the overall score, the flight attendants were shouting in the background for passengers to sit down as the aircraft was not at complete stop yet. I had my fair share of such experience too, especially on flights in and out of China.

In my opinion Cathay is pretty good like the crew is nice and is very safe, EK and SQ are safe but the reason why everyone says SQ and EK are their favorite is because they are more luxurious than cx

Stevenson Usat Not to insult or what, but a lot of mainland Chinese passengers on board and they are somewhat really lack of civil mindset. So hence why the cabin crew keep reminding them to sit down.

documentary Liew Just a tiny bit, but that is the case with all AVOD IFE systems really. The only airline which didn't lag for me was Hong Kong Airlines, with their A330-300. Thanks for watching!

I think Cathay is better than Hong Kong Airlines (HK). On HK Airlines, I was sick from eating on the flight from HK to Harbin in 2011. I prefer Cathay and agree with Skytrax!

Vaibhav Shete I don't think I fly a lot to be honest. For example, I had 12 flights last year which is 1 flight a month basically and I know a lot of people who fly that amount in a week.
