Never heard her speak Italian, had read she is trilingual but never heard her speak the 3rd language. I think she would appreciate being described as Professional, not just a Star. She seems to regard her appearance as part of The Job. And she often points out that it can be a struggle to keep up the image, the expectations. And she is right about a woman of her age being given more scope in Europe than in America. Age = Experience in Europe whereas in America you're just old.

As for Brigitte Bardot , she cared for the animals in Ukraine and applaused the people in Ukraine as they did not leave without their animals , then she said that the European Union is doing so little for Ukraine. So no she did not support Russia. And for Catherine Deneuve , this was in Venise, the last Eurovision in Italy was won by Ukraine, Zelensky made a record for the Mostra , so she felt it was somehow a good place to show them support without risking as much as in France. Even if she likes Russia , does not mean supporting Russia in this. You have a German nickname , what happened in the Donbass area of Ukraine is quite like for us in France, for the region called Alsace, the local language is closer to the german language , and however they are French citizens. So supporting Putin or Russia is risky in France.
