That bedroom and kitchen will be the living room and dining. The kitchen will be added to the rear expansion along with a bathroom and bedroom, and laundry. Upstairs, there will be two bedrooms and a bathroom. Just dream it, people.

We wanted one of these houses but the location isn't safe! My other half worked at grace and the things that happens there at nights isn't pretty as well as it floods as soon as it rains. So this is the reason we didn't apply for these but you definitely covered alot of stuff I was confused about. Thank you

Nice Houses Brittany. Big land spaces,they need to plants some trees in the scheme to make them look attractive. Whoever buy these units could utilize the spaces inside the houses, and make it more livable. They could use a bed that has storage, they could design the inside to their own likes. Jamaica is over populated for such a small lsland, so these developers need to build like a two or three storey units. Some people as they get older they don’t want to deal a gardener or landscaper or contractor, they just want to live comfortable. Please build some two storey houses. Keep Up The Good Work.

That's a deception that Jamaica is over populated. Just look at the parish of St. Catherine where these houses are featured, where does the majority of the people reside? Spanish Town and Portmore. What happened to the rest of the parish? It's one of the largest parish. The other places just need to be developed. Open your eyes and look at who is buying up other parts of JA, foreigners and the locals shoved in one place.

The relationship between space and number is not that hard to comprehend. If you spread out then everyone has more space. From I was a child they've been saying this nonsense. Plus if someone else keep taking away from the space you have then eventually you will have less space. If JA was truly over-populated that land space they give at the back of these houses, you wouldn't see. Even in big countries there is complaint about class size and traffic, why because they jam everyone into cities. Wake up.

The last one is nicer you don't have nobody next to you and more private .You can extend it the kitchen bigger and bedroom and make a master bedroom either bathroom plus a separate toilet for a visitors with nice big balcony all around .If I was buying I paint it different because that colour Is not so nice if it was white or dark grey .

This is a good thing, remember it comes with a lot, I know a lot of people think they are too expensive, I can tell you that they are not, when I did the math and the labor cost plus land I was shocked how expensive it cost to build. So I can tell you its small but not over priced. And I don't have any affiliation to the NHT.

I'm just not happy that no modification is allowed to the front. So can't build a grilled verandah. Anyone will be able to walk up directly to your front door.

That's what I've noticed with these developments, you can't do anything to the front. You know these are associated with overseas developers because that's how it is with houses abroad; can't add anything to the front except grass and flowers. Jamaica needs things that apply to JA and it's lifestyle. Someone else should not control your narrative.

The only thing wrong here is that they keeping building homes but not infrastructure to improve education or healthcare. They have not built any high school within the last several years, still no hospital in Portmore. They have not built another police or fire station….So how do they expect to serve these communities adequately without improvements in these areas. People in Portmore shouldn’t have to leave to get hospital care. More schools need to be built to accommodate more children who will be living there….where is the vision for Portmore…smh…

I would like to know why would you not be able to expand in the front meaning put a grill or a nice sitting area in the front the front of the houses is look very basic they don't look nice at all in the front so why would you not be able to make your home look very nice in the front and the back the front of it the house is to me look standard concentration camp type of houses!! The color is not nice at all plus if I'm buying a house why wouldn't I be able to make it to my liking adding additions to it. These units are very basic!! And I would want to upgrade it to look much nicer!!

I am almost confident you can have grills but all homes in Jamaica have regulations on how far towards the front and sides the home can be built and I’m guessing with them trying to give you ample house space on the inside they went with that layout. My home is built on an NHT lot and basically all the homes in the scheme had to be built the same distance away from the road.

You know what is so unfair about purchasing one of these houses when you buy the house I imagine its belong to you yet they're telling you that you can't change it to how you want it the front is so ugly and you can't design it to how you want it so unfair it is as if it still belong to them, even tho you pay for it.

Why is the property not fenced in ? Is there any outside plumbing for attaching a hose? Is there a place to do laundry inside or outside the house? Why is there not a concrete porch at the back of the house? Why couldn't the electrical power be underground? Can you imagine the tangle of wires from each house to the light post? No place to fly a kite! Why re the windows so small? Not much natural lighting inside the house! How long before those flat slab roof start to leak? Those concrete roof is a pizza oven when the sun heat got them hot. They will remain hot throughout the night! Is there space on the property for a clothes line? Why is there no wall to seperate the neighbour premises? The property is poorly designed and overpriced! This housing project is like a chicken farm!

I have to call it a duplex as that is what is listed on the website and viewers will get confused if I say something that is contradicting what the website says. Duplex is generally one larger house split into sections for multiple families (owned by one person) but similar concept here.
