Such a beautiful edit!✨ I really love Katherine Parr❤️ She was a wise and intelligent Queen, and an interesting woman. What I love about her is that although she never wanted to marry Henry VIII and become Queen, she tried to be a loyal and caring wife for him, did a great job as Queen and regent, tried to be a loving and wise stepmother, persuaded Henry to restore Elizabeth and Mary to the line of succesion and she survived by being almost the third executed wife! She was a survivor and a true Queen!✨She deserved better and it's sad she died tragically😢 Thomas Seymour was an ambitious and lustful man and it's heartbreaking for what he did to Elizabeth!💔 We need more edits about her🥰 Nicely done!❤️😍☺️

I would really love to read Katherine Parr's whole story💙 Alison Weir's books are always so interesting and beautifully written!😩 I am currently reading one of her books: Kathryn Howard, The Tainted Queen. It's such a beautiful and heartwrenching story!🥺 I recommend you to read it. The way Alison writes her books...her stories feel so real! Yes, I have heard about the Katherine Parr movie and I am sooo excited about it!!😍😩 I didn't know Alicia Vikander will play Katherine😮 I am surprised, but I can't wait to see her portrayal as Katherine! Thanks for clearing that up to me!✨

Hi, I like Catherine Parr but Becoming Elizabeth was awful. Elizabeth was not in love with Thomas Seymour. This is a lie that keeps being portrayed very inaccurately on screen. There was no love triangle going on he sexually abused/harassed her even though she tried to get away from him, deliberately betrayed Catherine, and got what he deserved in the end. Catherine never should have married him. Thankfully, Queen Elizabeth found true love with Robert Dudley later in life. He was a good man. ❤❤

And if a child survived and turned 14,he/she could share his/her bed with fiancé/fiancée) were used to marry men ,much older than their brides. Plus,Thomas had been recognised womaniser so Bess could easily fall in love from his charms (why she didn’t push him away or scream to hint Parr she needed her help? why didn’t she tell Catherine that her own stepfather was flirting with her? If any chance is available, a true victim will try all ways to be heard). I remember you respect the red-haired queen while I don’t and you believe the teenager didn’t think of love and more light stuff? One more accident. Catherine Howard loved and slept with Thomas Culpeper (in her case,I can pity her as all the court had no doubts she would marry him before Henry noticed 14-15 y o girl) and in her youth there were two men - Dereham & her music teacher- as well. And we may have different points on this event🤝

Do more research please Elizabeth I was sexually abused by Thomas Seymour and numerous witnesses attested to this such as her governess Kat and other servants like Thomas Parry. A 13 teen year old should never be molested by their stepfather. That's never okay. Elizabeth was a child she wasn't married to Seymour she was his stepdaughter even at the time people were horrified. Also Elizabeth did complain of his treatment of her to Kat Ashley and Catherine Parr. They did nothing. She later complained to Edward and his Council they didn't help her either. She stated clearly several times she had no desire to marry him. Therr is no evidence of a crush. Don't victim blame her. Catherine even accompanied Seymour on his morning visits and helped him rip open Elizabeth's dress. Disgusting there's no excuse for that. Fuck him. Catherine was stupid to marry him and deserves some of the blame for the abuse as well. Watch David Starkey's documentaries/books for a more accurate retelling of this period.
