0:28 Whether that voice crack was intentional or not, it really emphasizes how at the end of the day Edward’s still just a young teenager, forced to play the role of people often much older and wiser, instead of just being a kid

most definitely. seymour grew arrogant, controlling even of his nephew. at this point, edward vi was already of sane control and power. the idea of edward vi getting superceded by his uncle's greed is unforgivable. especially knowing that mary was dedicated to his brother, even with her catholic faith, she would not lie to him and was right to tell her brother about it. edward seymour is done.

Tudor Edward VI: why the forgotten Tudor king had the makings of a monster The son Henry VIII always wanted is often maligned as a sickly child - but does he deserve this reputation? The real Edward VI, writes historian Tracy Borman, was a hearty lad who could have been as terrible as his father had he not met his untimely death in 1553 (aged 15)

@teaonrainyday888 I think that I must have read about a different Catherine: "The first known female ambassador in European history" "For six months in 1513, she served as regent of England while Henry was in France. During that time the English defeated a Scottish invasion at the Battle of Flodden, an event in which Catherine played an important part with an emotional speech about courage and patriotism" "The English people held Catherine in high esteem, and her death set off tremendous mourning" "If not for her sex, she could have defied all the heroes of History." (Thomas Cromwell, her enemy) "She successfully appealed for the lives of the rebels involved in the Evil May Day, for the sake of their families, and also won widespread admiration by starting an extensive programme for the relief of the poor. Catherine was a patron of Renaissance humanism and a friend of the great scholars Erasmus of Rotterdam and Thomas More" Yes I think this must have been another Catherine altogether...

@@kessarinkullaphatkanon3695 The Tudors are to this day some of the most beloved Monarchs ever to sit on the UK throne because they protected the UK and its people very well.
