The rules are: You can only use each number once and you can only use simple arithmetic operations i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. You do not have to use all the numbers provided either. so this one for example: 100 + (5-4) = 101. Hope that helps!

I suppose I was getting at the idea that us English-types are not exactly internationally renowned for our grasp of languages other than our own (and even then...), so if I ran into someone English playing the "I'm thick" card who had also somehow taken the time and effort to learn three languages to the point of being fluent, I would view them with deep suspicion, particularly if they were trying to sell me something. 🤣
