Some of the comments people have left on this video are both shocking and disgusting. If you've come here to make a degrading comment about the young actress in this film, kindly restrain yourself and leave. Nobody wants to see it and nobody really cares.
@Widdekuu913 жыл бұрын
It's nothing new, sadly. Most people remove/clean their commentsection often so you don't see it. I've seen sexual remarks about handicapped people in shows, people that were dead and people that were dying of cancer. Things like; 'Too bad she died, would've loved to ... my ... in her ... before she kicked the bucket' or 'She looks like a Gremlin, but I still would..if she wore a bag." Best thing to do is remove them and appreciate the fact that there's more happy ones. There are more kind people in the world than mean ones.

I love when the magic of the YT algorithm throws me a seemingly random recommendation that really sticks. This was brilliant! I too had crippling shyness as a kid and my Mom championed for me to be in every school play and also enrolled me in kiddie acting group. I can remember both Mom and Dad up late at night after busy days at work and on the weekends making costumes and building sets. Every little person should havr that kind of cheerleaders.

Now that was a unique episode to see Catherine tate play a kinda serous mature roll, she's pretty and her hair looked good, think it was her natural hair. The little girl blew me away with her song at the end I thought she's a little Freddie mercury, my ex and me injoyed that movie bohemian rhapsody. Catherine she's so many awesome characters, that nun was stuck up, she expected the little girl to get stage fright so bad she would wee on stage, But she did pull a wee face at the end, we are probably ment to think she did.

The teacher/nun reminded me of every terrible teacher I had in my snobby posh school that covers ALL of them!! However I never came across a child with this issue OR didn't notice. This skit should be watched by everyone who has ever been disparaging or downright horrible re a child with this issue. In every shy person there is a fun gregarious person just dying to be set free and we would do well to help them at every opportunity!

She seemed so sweet and kind I have no idea what her personality is like in real life cause I've never watched an interview and this woman plays so many different personalities its beyond remarkable.. I just commented on a Nan video last night because I’d never had the privilege of knowing Catherine Tate existed and just found out about her when I’d stumbled onto these videos, and I was in tears, doubled-over in pain laughing harder than I can remember doing in some time now. This video brought back some horrible memories for me, and that little girl is so sweet and so cute, and once again, I was in tears, this time because of how beautifully heartwarming this was. That was the most perfect ending and I’m tearing up again thinking about it. Catherine Tate is an absolute gem of a woman. Please take good care of her, England. I think she’s my hero.

While watching the classroom scene at the beginning I had a bit of a flashback to my own experiences as a very young child in parochial school. My first teacher was not like the one in this video, but as I got older I would run into nuns like her. Strangely enough, my first reaction to watching that scene was the same as the grandmother's (?) and aunt's (?): the nun is a baxxard. Also had a flashback to my mom preparing dinner and gossiping with another woman...trying to remember exactly who it was they were talking about.

This was 10 years ago. GG wouldn’t be appropriate to have in this this nowadays. The girl is very sweet and if her hair is naturally that colour, I can only imagine the relentless bullying she has endured. One of my own daughters is a beautiful red head who spent years as a teen dyeing it. She’s 24 now and embraces it!

Oh my gosh, this was absolutely beautiful and adorable. Why is there never any quality, feel good shows like this in the US? Oh yeah...it's because we're built on one standard: if you're not the best, and setting the direction for the pack, you simply don't matter. And, in fact we will brake you until you know that. I would guarentee most of the disgusting rude comments on here came from americans. Not all of us are rude assholes.

Aww. In third grade, I had a very scary old teacher. I was a year younger than everyone else in my class, and the teacher terrified me so much. One day, I raised my hand to go to the bathroom, and my teacher didn't see me, and I wet myself because I was too afraid to speak up. I'm not so shy anymore, and this was so cute and reminded me a bit of myself.

Oh, and for the Gary Glitter impersonation. I'm sure this was made before he was outed. Are we going to deny every child's hero memories of men who they knew nothing about. For heaven's sake Jimmy Saville fooled and groomed the nation and the police.This is a moving story of empowerment, not Catherine's best, but likely touching on issues she felt herself growing up ginger. I grew up in a world where children of normal build today we're teased and isolated for being fat, where children were humiliated by teachers for being black, for not being Christian and yes, also publicly yelled at as filthy and slapped for soiling themselves when stressed. This film isn't about promoting a paedophile. Gary Glitter was a pop star who appealed to children as part of Glamrock. Good men such as Alvin Stardust were copied too; and what child of that era didn't dream of their fantasy brought to life through Jim'll fix it? Who now knows what terrible things BMay be found after the death of stars with enough money to fool the public now? We were innocent then. We didn't have mobile/cell phones or internet. I agree this isn't a great story, as the moral seems to be bribery is good. To see the underdog children have their moment of glory was lovely though. Viewers likely may have enjoyed Tarentino films, Goodfellas, even Pretty Woman - all with dubious morals but none using convicted dangerous actors . Please try to see what the play is about. It is _not_ about glorifying paedophilia. It is not a masterpiece. I applaud natural ginger Catherine Tate for broaching what may have been sensitive memories for her.
