I know. I carefully examine each photo for that connection. They communicate with each other so much with their eyes. I see affection, respect, admiration for the other’s gifts; their behaviour is reflected in their children’s behaviour. Seeing them occasionally touch each other is more affirming than constant hand-holding. Rumours have swirled around the late Duke of Edinburgh, but in one of their last photos together, I saw that same understanding as they looked into each other’s eyes. Look for it…they are sitting outdoors on the grass. Heartwarming. I wish the Prince and Princess of Wales the same long and loving relationship.
