Many moons ago (1977) my brother, a few others and I backpacked up the Vallecito trail to Rock Creek trail, over the top to Moon and Half Moon, to Emerald Lake and on to Los Pinos (now called Pine River) trail and out to that trailhead. 5 days Counting 1 layover on Rock Creek. Had a car parked at each trailhead. My most memorable trip! This year my wife and I stayed at 30 mile campground and dayhiked the Weminuche trail a couple miles in. Thanks for jogging my memory! Oh, rain and hail back then. But only 3 or 4 hours once. And back then no dead pines from the pine bark beetle. Thanks again!!!

Beautiful area......trail looks good....the river....and the bridges too. I am a big fan of rain and even the volitale weather...so just love it that the mountains have their own weather agenda......Love seeing the flowers and their colors also. From the perspective of my still being in a virus environment and seeing all this nature...including the bees you showed.....it is just great to see that "nature" has a mind of it's own and going forward as it always has.... thanks.

Very typical Colorado weather...when I was In the San Juans, 2 years ago in June,...it would be sunny till the afternoon and then the storms would roll in. Rain, thunder and lightning....a normal Colorado day. Love your CAT hat...its you all the way. That Pine River camp site was sweet. I would love to hang to there for a couple of days and get some great fishing in. You passed a LOT of sweet looking fishing water. Thanks for taking along for the trip....Ill need to check out this area for myself. Happy Trails to you and Christine...

Amazing! Simply amazing!!! You and Christine make that trail look so easy. As for the weather, that's another part of God's artistry that you captured and shared so beautifully! My God, this is your best video yet. Many thanks for brightening-up my otherwise solo Father's Day. I had breakfast while watching this!, LOL! (If I had a channel, perhaps I could call it, "This Ham Cooks"!) You really, seriously, need to exp;lore (Intentional bad pun!) additional venues for the exposure of your talent. Not just for the $$$$, but because for it not to be on PBS, Discovery, etc., is depriving so many of your talent. I pray that God shall continue to Bless, Guard, Protect and Bring Joy to you!
