I’m having hamburger gravy and biscuits for supper tonight. I actually bought a can of Grands Flaky biscuits and they’re over $3.00 for one can. I always make my own biscuits but just didn’t feel like it this time. My husband will love it, he loves canned biscuits. His momma wasn’t a cook. @@LorettaWilliams-q7e Yummy. I decided I wanted a baked potato with gravy on it and biscuits too. I love gravy on a baked potato. I usually do sausage gravy. It’s just been a long time since I had hamburger gravy.. Them fried apples sound delicious too.

Pillsbury flaky biscuits are comfort food for me, when momma did breakfast for supper, that’s what we had. We’d save at least one apiece and have butter and strawberry preserves on it for desert. Even today those biscuits with butter and jam help the blues. Must say, this gravy makes a Cadillac breakfast. Whatever carb you put it on (even rice) is instantly transformed.

Love this entire meal idea😊. Making biscuits without all that kneading and rolling and cutting is definitely the way to go for some delicious biscuits. My husband and I had breakfast for supper lots of Thursday nights when he was alive and we both loved it. The Thursday night thing was a tradition of my grandparents and my Grandma called it "Poor night" because it was an inexpensive supper on the night before their payday 😊. Thanks for this one! 👍 ❤

My Grandma use to make big breakfast for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She normally scramble her eggs and serve hash browns, with biscuits and gravy, of course sussage gravy. Sometimes she changed it up and make sussage Souffle and for this breakfast it would be served with homemade biscuits and Amish Jelly. She's been gone for 2 years now and grandpa over 10 years. Now my own father passed June 6 from heart surgery. I miss these breakfast and multiple night we stayed with Grandpa and Grandma, great family time.

And you are the FIRST ever to have introduced me and teach me how to make Butter Swim Biscuits. And there's nothing like a hearty gravy on top of the biscuits!😁 We also like ground meat with gravy or SOS as some call it. I've never seen butter swim biscuits before but it looks like a good recipe to have!☺️ We waste so much time buttering biscuits and this recipe made it simple!😉 Since biscuits seem to make me sleepy, this would be great for dinner!
