You’re right. I didn’t realize that the first time I watched this. This is a hit piece on the Catholic Church. If that quote by the archdiocese at the end is accurate then they made a mistake. They should have said that they teach the truth as taught by Jesus Christ.

Real title of this story should be “ woke Boston leftists upset the Church won’t change 2000 years of tradition. The church is growing in my town. It’s extremely traditional. Let the libs go to the episcopal denomination and let their ideas die with it, or embrace tradition and come home to the one true Church.

As a lifelong Catholic I would not be attending that parish either. The purpose of the Church is to teach God’s laws which do not change. Any Catholic trying to say God’s laws have changed is a heretic.

What about all those dietary laws in Leviticus that were repealed by God in Acts chapter 11? As time goes on, believers have come to realize more and more that God is a God of Love, Reconciliation and Inclusion -- even to people that have been outcasts in the past.

Do everything in your power to change your ways or you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. And god is love but he isn't all peace. Jesus said "anyone willing to harm the little ones or convince them to sin is better off tying a milstone around his neck and throwing himself into the sea."

No. Pope Francis said that priests could bless the *individuals* in "irregular" relationships (same-sex, cohabitating, or remarried after divorce) if they wished to, as long as this blessing was not delivered in a manner suggesting Church approval of the relationship. Most LGBT+ people grasped this distinction immediately, but many in the media ignored the caveats and reported on this as the RCC becoming more inclusive. And the Trad Caths lost their minds, wailing that Francis was a heretic for approving Teh Gay.

IMO, he's trying to keep the RCC relevant in the new millennium by threading the needle between not violating established canon while distancing the Church from the MAGA hats. Whether he'll succeed or not is uncertain, but his institution faces demographic doom if he doesn't at least try.

What's the hypocrisy? Humans are sinners, and we chase God because we wanna be good and holy. The church is a hospital for sinners, and yes, we all are hypocrites because we sometimes say things we don't mean. Athiests, agnostics, cultists, buddhists, etc... we're all hypocrites because we sin. We aren't perfect. But we Christian Catholics try to strive to be SAINTS.

Fear is an important aspect of the Catholic Church! There was a time when fear drew people to attend church every Sunday! God is our Father and He loves us like a Father. What father would send his child to hell for all eternity! Fear of God is the Catholic teaching! What father would expect his son or daughter to visit him weekly! Basically, the Catholic picture of God is totally based upon ignorance and fear. Spare me that desecration!!!

Some Catholics want to change Gods principles…since God made it clear that having an issue intimate relationship was forbidden to take place among his children… we cannot bend his rules…at this point we are disobeying God… just like Adam and Eve did… we cannot trust our own logic because God is the true logic. If you live in this area, start praying the 4 Rosaries all 20 mysteries for a mass conversion of the neighborhood so the church won't close or pray that wealthy person donate to keep the church open. Do it EVERYDAY, or you might not have a church anymore. The choice is yours. No excuses like "I'm too tired from work/kids." Do you want the church to stay open and save souls or are you gonna let the devil lull you to sleep? Church is amazing and if there are bad leaders, then pray 4 Rosaries daily and contact the Bishop about changing the leaders of the church.

The scene in the report depicting incense rising is not in fact at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston; it is in fact, Grace Cathedral, an Episcopalian church in San Francisco! Really bad imaging and very misleading. It is an affront to Episcopalians. No wonder the flock is leaving in droves!

The Church is the Bride of Christ. The Church is meant to remain a rock in the midst of the culture that surrounds it. It shouldn’t change with every whim. The Church absolutely loves these people that you show. But it also requires that they abstain from sins that separate them from God. God actually does know what is best for us, and He never changes.
