The catholic church has had a lot of scandal going on for quite some time. At least in the religion of Islam, the Imams marry. Also, some Christian Protestant denominations allow marriage. But you are on point in that, many of the religious leaders that have *obsessive sermons* on certain topics in regards to homosexuality, greed, adultery, etc. are psychologically projecting their own desires, issues, actions onto their congregants. Spiritually, follow no man, nor put trust in them. Once people stop putting others (especially in positions of authority) on a pedestal, be it a religious leader, mayor, judge, celebrity, police, teacher, leader of a corporation/company or even a nation.... you can start seeing (clearly) the forest for the trees. Humans are indeed fallible. God is not.
