This reminds me of that clip they played from The Chosen on The VIew when Jonathan Roumie made an appearance. They tried to claim that Jesus had the same view of social justice as they do but Jonathan Roumie put them in their place!!!

This isn't surprising given that many Protestants think that worship means singing hymns, reading Scripture and saying prayers.

@@thomasrzepka2590the representation of the sacrifice on the cross In exodus, Moses says to pharaoh he needs all the cattle because he doesn’t know how God will want to be worshipped, and then God tells him to slaughter the lamb for Passover, and to keep doing it year after year. We see from the writing in the Mishna this wasn’t a symbolic gesture, because they noted that exodus doesn’t say that the “for it is because of what God did for me when he brought me out of Egypt” ended when that generation went to sleep. They note that a Jew in the time of Jesus put themselves in the alongside those leaving Egypt. Fast forward to the last supper. “This is my body… this is my blood, the blood of the new covenant, do this in [anamenesis] of me”. Now first notice that it is a covenant, which needs to be renewed when we fail in our side of the covenant (Jews would renew their covenant with a blood sacrifice). A covenant is “I give you me, so that you give me you”. Secondly, the word anamensis is a strong remembrance, envoking the remembrance of Passover, which I just explained. Finally, Jesus tells us how to Worship God now, by saying do THIS.

I wasn't shocked that you would try and find excuses for it, I was kinda shocked that you almost admitted that the bible has contradictions. You almost had it. Now if you had been honest, that would have absolutely shocked me! I know you learn about the contradictions and how to rationalise them to lay people.

Hi Thomas, your suppose to read Titus. Chapter 3. Your failing at 3.1 and 3.2. I dare say you are who we are warned about in 3, 9-11. Oh, look. 3,12. A Bible didn't send out Artemas and Tychicus, Paul did! Apostolic succession in action. How do you explain this?

I don't think this is the main issue with the Catholic church. I think it's that they overemphasize the images, and crowd out the word. The statue of Mary is everywhere in the Catholic church and she is not mentioned that often in the bible. We should focus more on the word versus the imagery. We definitely should not be bowing down to statues, even if they are of Mary. The Angel in Revelation SPECIFICALLY points this out to John and tells him not worship him.

You are simply dancing around the word of God and twisting the Scriptures to your own as well as others destruction. The two cherubim were never made with an opportunity to be worshipped when publicly displayed. The serpent is not specified In the three categories of forbidden images. Furthermore, it was later destroyed to prevent such worship.

In American Christianity they translated the words incorrectly of the original language which is Greek and Hebrew. Worship meaning in English means adoration and in Latin , Greek, old language it was a different meaning. The word dulia we use means honor and respect. English doesn’t have the right word for it so they just put the word worship and that’s why there so many denominations in America because mistranslated bibles. This is why you have to follow a certain authority which is the papacy because they have the correct translation of the Bible not your pastor or whatever your leader is. Also when god was talking about dont serve anyone above and below he was talking about birds and land creatures because paganism was doing those things back in the day and giving them sacrifices which is only meant for god. You have to read the right translation the NrSV and I can promise you everything will make more sense. We honor and respect the saints and Mary (Dulia) and Worship(latria) which is sacrifice and mass is only for god. Go to mass in a Catholic Church and you’ll hear it is only dedicated to god. You have been mislead by American Christianity. God passed the keys to Peter who is the first pope. The papacy continues to have that authority the right translation because god says the Holy Spirit protects that authority. The pope himself isn’t perfect but the authority he has will never be wrong because the holy spirt protects the church. If you don’t follow the authority god said to follow then you will start to make your version of church which is man made. God said his church will never fall which is why Catholic Church is still here and has never fallen unlike American Christianity which is always changing and never perfect because the Holy Spirit doesn’t protect it. Go to a Catholic Church and then you can talk. Don’t speak of something you have no knowledge of or else you’ll be the fool Jesus talks about in the Bible.

@@DianaDiana-nu5vg I ONLY Adhere to Biblical Christianity! All that waste of pinkie fingers just repeats what you been taught (indoctinated) without any research or proof, even contrary to what the Biblical God has said in his Holy Scriptures if only you would read it when without any prior biases but with humble sincere spiritual heart of love seeking the Truth. The Biblical God created and formed all the languages, so why do you think that he is NOT capable or willing to guide the translation of his word correctly under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost since He will judge and hold

@@thomasrzepka2590 that’s what I’m saying you need to follow the papacy. The papacy has that authority and it’s protected by the Holy Spirit. We can’t make up our own because that would be man made. Early Christians the writings of the apostles is the proof of the tradition god speaks of in the Bible. He said either by letter or word of mouth. 2 Thessalonians 2:15. Scripture is for the faith. Tradition is taught by the apostles the early Christians which is in letter and word of mouth not all traditions will be found in the Bible the Bible says that clearly.

@@thomasrzepka2590 just read the early church fathers writings. If you really follow the Bible then do that. When you read the writings then come and talk to me. Gather all your research first and then we can talk. The Bible says to follow the tradition. I already gave you scripture proof of where it says that.
