Okay, so after more than seven years of a "five month fad" this is the first time I kinda' get it. As a player of the four and a half string banjo I started out playing "old time" ie Mke Seegar instruction tapes etc, An old friend sent me a wav. of some guy playing '"While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Sounded like I thought; lead played on fishhin' string. So just kept studyin' on Scruggs as I was looking at going to my fifty years old party day, soon. You don't have to stretch so far on "Uke"! Don't see gettin' a koa four string anytime soon but now I get that you can get such great sounding music. Well done...
