after pressing run in excell, it is showing licence information for this component not found. you do not have an appropriate licence to use this function inthe design environment.

Hi dp singh, It's an issue with catia version/licence. Please Re-check try installing proper version CATIA V5 R20 - R23 May not work on CATIA V5-V6 Relases

Hello Nishtanth, It means that it only support .Catpart files i.e., you should be in Part design or wireframe and surface Design workbench in Catia.

hi Gamidi Kartheek thanks for watching the video. we can make surface as solid with some tools available in GLAD or Part design, -close surface and thick surface. for close surface you need fill all opened surface using fill command and join them, FILL and JOIN command are available in GLAD or Surface design. Hi deepak, To prevent that error, You need to open either PART DESIGN / WIREFRAME SURFACE DESIGN /GENERATIVE SHAPE DESIGN/ ANY SIMILAR workbench. Please try above thing. Thanks for watching video, feel free to ask any more queries.

hi Mohammad, Thanks for Watching video . first thing you have to do is to open part design or wireframe & surface design or GSD workbench , and then continue with MS Excel. The error Message you have got is due to because you have product / assembly design workbench as active window. oh..so you are still getting that error, that error may be encountered due to following reasons, 1.If you are not using the GSDpoint spline excel(which has taken from program files). 2.If you are not using CATIAV5R20 or R20 installed version. 3. if any MS OFFICE excel macro issues... previously I got same problem with above mentioned problems... try to check with your case...

Thanks for watching video astafzciba, i understand your problem with visual basic, if we want to import any data(set of points usually) in to catia we need VB script/macros, by this a geometry is created in catia V5 and we cant edit it according to our requirements. The best way is try to solve problem with Visual Basic and try again. I hope you understood above answer, still if you have any doubt please feel free to comment

first of all Thank you for watching my video.. object doesn't support error will only appear when do not open CATIA with part design / GSD workbench.... I have kept opened GSD workbench in background... try this once....if error continuous appear plz let me know....feel free to comment your any doubts 😁

Hi.. thanks for watching You asked how to get airfoil with maximum thickness of 3.67cm(=36.7mm). In airfoil tools --> airfoil plotter just enter your required thickness of 36.7mm...and it will give you the desired co-ordinates.. @@pontaritnuanyai4231 I'm sorry, it is actually percentage to chord.. So you should know chord length of airfoil and then calculate the percentage. Input=chord length*100/thickness.. I hope it works now..

Hi deepak, Procedure for obtaining Delta wing is almost same as shown in video. If you are using same airfoil at root and tip of the wing then scale down chord length at tip. If you also want to give swept back wing then use translate option to move tip airfoil towards back.. I feel a have answered you query, Still you have any problem with this please reply.

Thanks for watching video... if You want have inverted or flipped airfoil there are three ways to get it. 1.Using Reverse option in airfoil tools website. 2. You can extract the normal airfoil spline formed by Excel point and use Rotate option in (transformation features) surface design. 3. After importing excel points make a sketch on a parallel plane to spline and use project 3D elements option in sketch , then isolate the sketch and keeping the sketch selected directly use rotate option with duplicate mode unchecked. you constrain using auto constraint option I hope I answered your question. if your doubt not clarified plz feel free to comment or reply thanks again
