Great video - very clear. If I send this part to a supplier and they don’t have my material library can they at least look at the part or will the CATPart be unusable? I assume they’ll get a warning. Thx in advance.

Thank for watching this video, Good Question, You are right, In that case user should get a warning, but parts are still usable except the material. Material names will be displayed in the tree. This is my understanding.

after pressing run in excell, it is showing licence information for this component not found. you do not have an appropriate licence to use this function inthe design environment.

Hi dp singh, It's an issue with catia version/licence. Please Re-check try installing proper version CATIA V5 R20 - R23 May not work on CATIA V5-V6 Relases

Hey abhi , but your spline is neat. When I run the macro the points r good in the catia but the spline is worst ? A lot of deviations ? Mine is R18, is it bcoz of the version ?

Hi there, Thanks for watching video. As you mentioned points are good but spline is not so good. The reason might be like points are too close to form a smooth spline. Try decreasing the number of points. (Try removing two or more points in between rows). I hope it will resolve your issue.👍

@@militaryaeronautix812 You always have options 1. Go only with points and later join the them with spline manually in wireframe and surface Design. 2. Try deleting the points in catia where the spline is going out of shape. Let me know if both the options doesn't work. Give it a try.

Hello Nishtanth, It means that it only support .Catpart files i.e., you should be in Part design or wireframe and surface Design workbench in Catia.
