Catman, THANKS! Thanks for REAL life. REAL hunting. REAL clothes. REAL equipment. REAL trucks. REAL scenerios. I'm sick and tired of being "sold" hunting. "You're not a real hunter if you don't have or do what I tell you, and oh that'll just be another $300 but it'll be worth it, until I sell you the next thingamajig and whirlybopper and noise maker" You just stick it in their face with your t shirt, hoodie wearing, color don't seem to matter to much, don't care what the professionals say self. I love it. And I'm sick of being told "deer can't be killed from the ground". What those "hunters" are really saying is that they don't have the skill to do it. You're doing a great job, keep going. Thought for a video (maybe you already have one) about your routines (or lack of) for scent free, camo choices or lack of, that stuff that we're told we must do or we'll scare every deer into the next county and they won't be seen until next season because we're "educating" them. Oh please.

It happens I strictly shoot bucks here in Mississippi and there was an old doe with a cripple leg that would rare up and beat the other deer at the feeder and that was the first doe I killed

Nice job, agree on the expensive bows. You don't need one to kill deer. After hunting with recurve and compound bows for years I've had to go to a crossbow due to age and surgery. Still love it and still won't pay a lot for a bow. You are a lot younger than me, but I have never shot a deer over 20 yards either. I practice at longer ranges but like to get them in close.

Great bow. I too shoot a Bear Paradox single cam set at 60 lbs. Couldn't be more happy with another bow. You made a great point about that there is no need to buy a high priced bow for hunting. I owned and shot many different bows in my life and they all were between 400 and 500 dollars. Much more important than the brand and price tag of a bow is to learn to shoot it properly and put the practice in to become a proficient bowhunter.

No worries. I moved my site the wrong way and lost my arrow into the leaves behind the target. You'd think after all those years we wound remember those things, but you don't. I like them close too, I once shot a deer at 32 yards, I shot at the left side. But I hit the right side. Still got the deer, but it had spun all the way around in a circle to leave before the arrow got there, could have been a lot worse. Nice looking buck back in there. Hope you tag him!

I agree! No point in shooting any more once you start to feel that fatigue, especially if setting up a bow. Better to shoot less arrows and more days.

Nice doe to break in that new Bear bow. Still shooting the first one cam/wheel bow that came out. A '94 Bear Super Strike XLR. Sometimes I'll switch to my 1999 Bear G2SL shorty. Both those bows new didn't cost $500 combined and have killed dozen(sss) of deer. Bear Bows...... Kill deer dead. Thanks for taking the time to put your videos out there. You put them out and I'll watch them.

Given what's been written elsewhere about deer vision and them seeing blue way better than human eyes can, and red way worse, it's kind of stunning that she wouldn't have spotted your hoodie instantly and gone a completely different direction.
