I'm so glad I'm just a less than an hour and a half car ride to Gettysburg(from Baltimore)I remember going on a couple field trips for school and not caring about it.In the 35 or 40 years since I've probably been up there 20 times. So much to look at and thanks for showing the cat place I'm sure they are going to love you because im going to go and I bet a TON of people will be going because of you.Whoever goes make sure you tell them its because of The Carpetbagger.

Ah, I was in Gettysburg, PA yesterday! Went to Sach's Covered Bridge. Love Mr. Ed's Elephant Museum. Mr. Ed recently passed away :(. The Enchanted Forest was very magical. Sad that the trees had to be felled. The museum used to decorate the trees near the road with seasonal items such as hearts for Valentine's Day, easter eggs for Easter, flip flops for Summer. I believe there is also a geocache located on the property.

We're an hour and a half away and we go there frequently. We were just there for Presidents Day weekend. There is so much to see and do just walking up and down Baltimore St and Steinwehr Ave. Last time we went to the Civil War Tails diorama museum was during Christmas a couple years ago. They had a neat little scavenger hunt throughout all of their displays. Gettysburg is one of my favorite places on earth! PS - I miss the Dime Mueseum that was there. We were able to see it a month before it shut down

Lana Turner was a popular Hollywood actress, whose career spanned from the 1940s, when she was originally known as the “Sweater Girl,” through the 1980s. Among her more popular movies are “The Postman Always Rings Twice,” “The Bad and the Beautiful” and “Peyton Place.” I also have no idea what she has to do with elephants!

That pink elephant with a "shower cap" is an old hair dryer. Also, Lana Turner was an American actress, most known during Hollywood's Golden Era. A star for MGM, she was of the most highly-paid US actresses in the mid-40s. I don't know why she owned elephant-design cutlery.

Interesting tribute to the civil war ,must say very catty. Lana Turner was a famous actress from the 40's who had a 50 yr career .She often starred with Clark Gable, I really can't figure out her connection to elephants unless those cutlery were made from something from an elephant. She was in Falcon Crest on TV as well. Mr. Ed sounds like he was a interesting man. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤

Lana Turner is a very famous, and i think beloved, Hollywood movie star. Known where i live from her award nominated role in Peyton Place, along side her many movies. There seems to be no apparent relation to elephants. I never heard of Olifant Wodka before. In the Netherlands, which Holland is a part of, we used to have a smaller gin (jenever) factory by the name of Olifant (Dutch for Elephant). I thought it went out of business somewhere in the 1960s, but apparently it is still alive today after its's start in 1841. You can order your bottles or crates of Olifant graan jenever now! Very nice museum, with all those different elephants. Mr. Ed seemed to be a very nice person. Also very nice to show some of the civil war events by the Civil War Tails museum. Very good footage there.

Freud postulated that all collecting stems from unresolved toilet training conflict. Carl Jung said the collecting of "nuts and berries" once needed for survival by our early ancestors, is a motivator in the psychology of collecting. Stay odd Jacob, you've collected a niche of followers that love your content.
